The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal launched a week long ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign for crowd sourcing of ideas for improving online education ecosystem of India.

ADB assures $2.2 billion support package to India for battling COVID-19
Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masatsugu Asakawa assured Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of 2.2 billion dollars (about Rs 16,820 crore) support to India in its fight against novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

- ADB said it is also engaged with the private sector to meet its financing needs during this period.
Jana Small Finance Bank rolls out digital banking platform
Jana Small Finance Bank, a scheduled commercial bank, has launched DigiGen, a digital banking platform where customers can digitally open a savings account and fixed deposit instantly; any time, anywhere.

CPI inflation likely to ease from 4.8% in Q1 to 4.4% in Q2: RBI report
Consumer price index based inflation which stayed elevated in the last few months is expected to soften during the course of the financial year, the Reserve Bank of India said in its monetary policy report.
