प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने नागरिकों को एक ही मंच पर सभी सरकारी सुविधाओं का लाभ देने के लिए आज मोबाइल एप ‘उमंग’ की शुरुआत की। इस एप पर आधार, डिजिलॉकर, भारत बिल पेमेंट सिस्टम समेत कई अन्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी।
- यह एप 13 भारतीय भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है। यह जल्दी ही यूएसएसडी के जरिये फीचर फोनों पर भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा।
- आधिकारिक दस्तावेजों के मुताबिक, यूएमएएनजी ऐप राज्यों और केन्द्र में विभिन्न सरकारी संगठनों की 1,200 से अधिक सेवाओं तक पहुंच प्रदान करेगा, साथ ही उपयोगिता भुगतान भी।
- ऐप स्पाइसडीगिटल द्वारा विकसित की गई है।
सरकार 115 जिलों में प्रधान मंत्री महिला शक्ति केंद्र स्थापित करेगी
केंद्र ने ग्रामीण महिलाओं तक पहुंचने और कौशल विकास, रोजगार, डिजिटल साक्षरता, स्वास्थ्य और पोषण को सुगम बनाने की नई योजना के माध्यम से देश के 115 सबसे पिछड़े जिलों में प्रधान मंत्री महिला शक्ति केंद्र की स्थापना को मंजूरी दी।
- सरकार ने देश में 161 जिलों से 640 जिलों तक बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढाओ योजना का विस्तार, साथ ही साथ 150 अन्य एक स्टॉप सेंटर को यौन हिंसा के सात लोगों के साथ-साथ छाता योजना के सात अन्य कार्यक्रमों के साथ भी मंजूरी दे दी है।

- वित्तीय सेवाओं तक पहुंच प्रदान करने के अलावा, यूएनओ ग्राहकों को अपनी जीवन शैली की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए 14 श्रेणियों में कैब, मनोरंजन, भोजन अनुभव, चिकित्सा आवश्यकताओं, यात्रा और रहने सहित आरक्षण की सुविधा भी देगा।
