अंत्योदय दिवस 2017 की पूर्व संध्या पर, सरकार ने इस वर्ष 24 सितंबर को “भारत के कौशलजादे” का अवसर मनाया। अंत्योदय दिवस इस साल 3 साल पूरा कर चुकी हैं। इस अवसर पर सरकार ने युवा कौशल विकास कार्यक्रमों का जश्न मनाया है, जिसमें ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में युवा प्रतिभाओं को प्रोत्साहित किया गया है।

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित बाल श्रम पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में राष्ट्रीय बाल श्रम परियोजना (एनसीएलपी) के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन के लिए ‘पेंसिल’ नामक एक वेब पोर्टल की शुरुआत की है।
- पेनसिल (कोई बाल श्रम के लिए प्रभावी प्रवर्तन के लिए मंच) – देश में बाल श्रम के लिए कोई इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्लेटफॉर्म नहीं बनाया गया है, श्रम मंत्रालय द्वारा विकसित किया गया है।
- पेंसिल पोर्टल में पांच घटक हैं – बाल ट्रैकिंग प्रणाली, शिकायत कॉर्नर, राज्य सरकार, राष्ट्रीय बाल श्रम परियोजना और अभिसरण।

‘बोस्टन कंसल्टिंग ग्रुप (बीसीजी) के साथ परामर्श में, सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के ऋणदाता आईडीबीआई बैंक ने एक टर्नअराउंड योजना शुरू की है – ‘परियोजना निश्चे’। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य संघर्ष करने वाले ऋणदाता कार्यक्रम में तेजी लाने और वित्तीय प्रदर्शन में सुधार करना है। इस परियोजना का नेतृत्व बीसीजी के साथ आईडीबीआई बैंक के वरिष्ठ प्रबंधन करेंगे।
- बैंक रिज़र्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के तत्काल सुधारात्मक कार्रवाई ढांचे के तहत है जिसका अर्थ है कि बैंक को पूंजी का संरक्षण करना होगा और लाभप्रदता पर लौटने के तरीके ढूंढ़े जाएंगे। बैंक को नई शाखाएं खोलने या संभावित जोखिम भरी कंपनियों को उधार देने की अनुमति नहीं है।
