Yes Bank partners Ola to set up 30 mobile ATMs in 10 cities

Yes Bank has partnered cab aggregator Ola to set up mobile ATMs across 30 locations in the country that will allow people to withdraw up to Rs 2,000 per card.


Need for non-disruptive mode of liquidity absorption: Report

The Reserve Bank’s move to implement incremental cash reserve ratio to absorb excess liquidity in the system is putting strain on the banks and there is a need to adopt non-disruptive mode of liquidity absorption, says a report.

  • In order to manage liquidity condition post demonetisation, the RBI on November 28 had asked banks to maintain an incremental CRR of 100 per cent on deposits accrued between September 16, 2016 and November 11, 2016.

NITI Aayog to provide Rs 5 lakh per district

To encourage each district in the country to take the digitization route without fear, the NITI Aayog will be immediately transferring Rs.5 lakh to every one of them as seed money to kick start this drive.

  • A letter has been written to district collector, commissioners and magistrates in this regard by NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, who is also member of the committee to promote cashless payments.

Indian companies in list of least empathetic in world

Empathy towards employees seems to be the last thing on the minds of Indian companies. The latest 2016 Empathy Global Index has nine Indian companies at the bottom of the pile holding positions from 140 to 150.

  • Facebook and Alphabet — the parent company of Google — top the list as the most empathetic.
  • Leading the list of least empathetic companies are Bharat Petroleum followed by Sun Pharma and ICICI Bank.

Aadhaar must for senior citizen train ticket concession from April 1
