Ten Managers L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T and U are from ten different companies
viz, TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Oracle, Wipro, Cognizant, L&T InfoTech,
Mind tree and Amway but not necessarily in the same order. They live on 10
different floors. The ground floor is numbered one and the topmost floor is
numbered ten. Also they are sitting in two parallel rows containing five Manager’s
each in such a way that there is an equal distance between the adjacent persons.
Five of them are facing south and five of them are facing north. Therefore in the
given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member
of the other row, but not necessarily in the same order. In rows and floors each
Manager’s belongs to different-different companies. When they sit in the row
arrangement, they belong to companies in which they work as a freelancer’s.
When they sit in the floor arrangement; they belong to companies in which they
work as a full time employee. In both arrangements only one Manager and his
company is same.
The Manager of Wipro faces south and is third to the left of T, who faces Q. S sits
second to the right of the Manager of L&T InfoTech and opposite to O. Manager of
