These are subordinating conjunctions
Now what are subordinating conjunctions?
Subordinating conjunctions are used to connect two sentences.
But here one sentence is the main sentence and second is subordinating sentence (dependent sentence)
When one sentence depends on the happening of another
Like when we use conjunction and. Both sentences are equally important
I am playing and you are studying
But when we use a subordinating conjunction like although
Although India played well, we lost the match.
And subordinating conjunctions are generally used at starting of a sentence.
Like the questions came in RRB this time
So a subordinating conjunction joins together a dependent clause with the main clause
main clause – is independent clause
