I wonder how could be so hopeful on this exam,,I have never been so lucky in my life, never been a privileged child..didn’t born having a silver spoon in my mouth ,,never got the opportunities that I believe I deserved ,,how could I think that I ll get something so easily .I was wrong at that….I think I am very much special :)) I ll never put blame on LUCK or anything else,,I think I didn’t work that hard for this .

But ,I am over it now ..10 days remaining for rrb mains :))
Will work harder now and will definitely get it 🙂

    @Gratitude Changes Destiny

Appreciating everything and everyone in our lives

Once upon a time, there was a small bird living in a desert. With no sign of
greenery the bird use to hop around on the hot sand through the day. Narad Muni
while on his way to Brahma Ji saw the little bird and felt pity for her. He
went to her and asked “O little bird! What are you doing in this hot and
unpleasant desert? Is there something I can do for you?” The little bird said,
“I live here and I am very pleased with my life, but this heat of the sand is unbearable.
Both my feet are getting burnt. Only if there was a tree here that I could rest
on, I’d be delighted”. Narad Muni said, “Growing a tree in the middle of desert
is beyond my scope. I am to going meet Brahma Ji, let me speak to him and ask
if he could fulfil your desire”. With this Narad Muni went off to meet Brahma
    Ji.

He narrated the tale of the little bird and asked Brahma Ji, if he could
help the bird in any manner. Brahma Ji said, “I could grow a tree for the bird,
but her destiny doesn’t allow it. And I can’t change that. However, you can
give her my message which will help her survive the heat. Ask her to hop with
one foot at a time. That ways she can rest the other one for a while and change
foot often. This way only one of her foot will have to bear the heat and other
one will be able to rest and recover. Also tell her to remember all the good
things that have happened in her life and be thankful to god for that. By doing
this she will be able to live all those happy moments of her life again which
will help her in forgetting the pain she is going through now.” Narad Muni paid
his regards to Brahma Ji and took his leave. Narad Muni came back to where the
bird was and gave her this message from Brahma Ji. The bird was delighted by
the idea and thanked Narad Muni for the effort he made to make her comfortable.

After a few days, Narad Muni was crossing the same desert and thought of
checking on the little bird. After looking around for a while, he saw the same
bird sitting on big green tree, right in the middle of the desert. Narad Muni
was happy to see the bird in comfort but was very disappointed with Brahma Ji
who suggested that there was no tree in this bird’s destiny. He went on to meet
Brahma Ji and enquired with him, as to why did he lie to him. To which Brahma
Ji replied, “I never lied to you. There was no tree in the bird’s destiny.
However, after you gave her my message which asked her to be grateful to God
for the kind things, she did put those words to action. She remembered every
possible thing from her life and thanked God with a pure heart. I was moved
with her feeling of gratitude and that’s what made me change her destiny”.
Narad Muni was pleased with the answer.

We believe in destiny yet we often crave for things in our life that we want
    to have, but don’t have as yet. Not once we look back at things that we’ve had;
things that we should be thankful to almighty for giving them to us. God has
created everything, each one of us and defined our fate and in return he only
asks for our remembrance. It is our remembrance that brings us close to him,
teaches us to admire all the effort he put in to make everything around us so
beautiful and with so much of detailing. With purity, gratitude and remembrance
we can lead a life that’s comfortable and full of happy moments.
