I think it is good to help backward section of the society but not by compromising with the competence required for a job or position ,,
if govt wants to help these sections there are much more ways , they can provide educational incentives , help them be independent rather than be at mercy of these quotas , and i think it is also a reason of inferiority issue with these sections that they are always at the mercy of govt and no solid efforts are put to make them more independent , and one big issue , govt have legalized that children of upto 14 yrs age can not work and education is made compulsory , but why is it so that these children never go to school in spite of so much benefits provided ??? because they help their family in earning their livelihood , they can’t afford to go to school even if it is free for them , i think their is fault with the govt policies itself ,
now back to the topic in hand , reservation is actually affecting the efficiency of economy itself , many a times people with zero competency are made to sit on high positions and what they do after that , its better to say nothing here , so benefit should be given to people to educate themselves with proper implementation of the plans , the other fact of the issue is create employment opportunities for the lower sections so that they can actually be independent , make educate their children and make them par with the other strata , and i think at that time no reservation will be needed !!

There are a lot of people like like tina dabi the topper UPSC , did she need reservation ?? well i think she should not have made use of this card , because it is not for people with so good economic and social background , it is to help people who are not able to be at par , this is also one face of the issue
Reservation, as the name specifies, reserves a certain category or group of people. And our democratic govt. Has the right to categorise these group of people. But, with a tremendous population, govt. Need to put a check on who should be reserved and who not. My view point is:
1. Despite general or scheduled, a economically disadvantaged category needs this privilege, in the first place.
2. Next, the STs of backward areas who are neglected by all.
3. Family of martyrs .
4. And all those staying nearby border areas.
Reservation is needed because ours is a poor Country. And to uplift certain sectors, we need reservation.

Reservation is not an economic issue for most of the people and politics. It is a social issue. And a holistic effort does include reservation in it. It is not one day process. It has been stemmed into our society since independence like our corruption system and other superstitious system etc. Gradual efforts can control this reservation policy. But still, reservation is needed. 🙂
Modi ji is obc category and many more personalities like him are reserved who never gave up reservation.
I am not against anything , i said there should be some check over it , people like tina dabbi , did she need reservation ??? i think no , people who are travelling abroad every vacation and still seeking reservation , is it for them ?? no it is not ,, there should certain criterion for that , not just by the surname !! and my point of discussion was just the reservation for JOBS not overall !!

I m in the support of the word ‘reservation’.
But the way it is destroying the country is not good. I think every person who is backward in any aspect should get reservation. Reservation is not such bad as it has been shown in our country. When reservation was not there my ancesters used to supress backward classes and i m totally against it. And now after the reservation people like ram vilas paswan says that he needs reservation as he is Sc. If any law or rule will be implemented in country we people are habitual to missuse it and the political parties take benefit from this. Resevation is good if taken in right way or it is the worst part of a democracy
