1. Exonerate (verb) – absolve (someone) from blame for a fault or wrongdoing ; to prove that someone is not guilty of a crime or responsible for a problem, bad situation, etc.

7. Juxtapose (verb) – place side by side ; the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.

8. Petulant (adjective) – easily irritated or annoyed ; to describe a person or behavior that is irritable, especially in a childish way ;  childishly sulky or bad-tempered.
