IBPS conducted its SO (IT) Exam on January 28, 2017 in two shifts. The overall exam was moderate. We are giving you the IBPS IT officer exam analysis. There were 4 sections in IBPS SO Exam as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, Professional Knowledge. There were different timing for each section.
This time the first 3 sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English are qualifying in nature, i.e there marks will not be counted for the selection for interview. So the whole selection now depends upon how aspirants performed in Professional Knowledge section. English section was difficult.
The order in which sections appeared: Reasoning -> English -> Professional Knowledge ->Â Quantitative Aptitude.

The section was moderate to difficult. All students find the section difficult, so cutoff will be very less. The IBPS Exams have raised the level of English section, so it expected it in SO paper too. The topics asked were:
Professional Knowledge:
The level of questions were moderate to difficult. The questions were from topics – DBMS, Networking, Internet, Operating System, Data Warehouse, etc. Marks obtained in this section will be only be counted, so all depends on how students performed in this section.
