  1. Access to funding for litigation has become a critical component of class action cases in Australia. This is because it provides the necessary financing for this form of expensive and complex litigation. Yet its unregulated nature may expose consumers to the risk of the funder becoming insolvent or simply failing to pay legal fees – or, if a class action is lost, the defendant’s costs. (……………………………………………………………………………)
    A) Consumers are reluctant to buy high priced goods as a result of this unregulated nature of the law.
    B) Funding to such parties must be stopped as it creates a lot of excess burden on the government.
    C) To create regulations that cover this, the courts and regulators need to pay attention to unsuccessful class actions.
    D) The judicial conflict over these executive orders highlights public opinion on both the role of the courts and the perception of conflict between national security and freedom of religion.

Now Option A is about high priced goods. Not the answer
Option B, talks about funding to party, and this creates burden on government. But govt. is not responsible for funding.
Option C tells the next step what should be done as per the context of the passage
Option D talks about executive order and national security and religion. Option E talks about women judges and appointment of judges. SO not the answer.
  2. (……………………………………………………………………… ). The basic right of people to escape from war, persecution and poverty would be accepted as a given, and no one would have their life determined by their place of birth. We can get the blank statement by looking at the 2nd line after the blank i.e ” But we don’t live in this world ….” It means some sort of world has been already introduced earlier. Option B and Option C can fill the blank as per this condition. Between B and C, Option B suits the best as it talks exactly in coherence with the passage.
