    Hello!

    “6.‘As if takes plural form of Verb, generally in Past Tense.
    Hence, the sea looks as if it have/had been ……….. Will be correct sentence.”

    Seems incorrect. Here are some examples:

    The floods were rising and it was as if it was the end of the world.
    It looks as if it is going to rain.
    She cried as if she was dying.
