    Number of girls = 800 * (7/16)

    = 350

    Number of boys like Red colour = (30/100) *450

    = 135

    Number of girls like Pink colour = 135 * (2/3)

    = 90

    Total number of students like Blue colour = (25/100)*800

    = 200

    Number of boys like pink colour = (80/100)*200

    = 160

    Number of boys like Blue colour = 450 – (160+135)

    = 450 – 295

    = 155

    Number of girls like Blue colour = 200 – 155

    = 45

    Number of girls like Red colour = 350 – (90+45)

    = 350 – 135

    = 215

    Required ratio = 350: 250 = 7:5

  4. The present age of Anish is 120% of the present age of Bragh. Chaithra’s age is 80% of the present age of Bragh. Deepika’s age is twice of Chaithra’s age. The ratio of the present ages of Anish to Elango is 3:2. If after 14 years Elango’s age is 30 years, then what is the present age of Deepika?

    32 years
    22 years
    12 years
    42 years
    52 years
    Option A
    Elango’s present age = 30 – 14 = 16 years

    Anish’s present age = 3/2 * 16 = 24 years

    Bragh’s present age = 100/120 * 24 = 20 years

    Chaithra’s present age = 80/100 * 20 = 16 years

    Davana’s present age = 2 * 16 = 32 years

  5. Kiran bought out two equal amounts. Some amount is simple interest at 12% per annum for 8 years and another amount is compound interest at 10% per annum for three years. If the total interest amount is 6196.8, find the amount is bought out each case

    5500
    5590
    4580
    4800
    4300
    Option D
    (x * 12 * 8/100) + x * (1 + 10/100)3 – x = 6196.8

    96x/100 + 331x/1000 = 6196.8

    1291x = 6196800

    = > x = 4800

  6. vessele 1 contains the mixture of juice and water in the ratio of 3: 2 and the Vessele 2 contains the mixture of juice and water in the ratio of 3: 4. The mixture of both the Vessele be mixed obtain the new mixture in Vessele 3, what is the ratio of mixture in new Vessele 3 contains 50% of milk and 50% of water?

    5: 4
    5: 3
    5: 6
    5: 7
    5: 8
    Option D
    4/7 2/5
    1/2
    1/10 1/14

    = 7: 5
    Required ratio = 5: 7

  7. A train crosses the 300m long bridge in 54 seconds and also crosses the pole in 36 seconds. The same train crosses another 400m long train in 36 seconds. If both the trains are running in opposite direction, then find the speed of second train? (In kmph)

    40 kmph
    30
    20
    54
    50
    Option A
    Length of 1st train = L1

    Speed of first train when crosses 300 m long bridge = S1

    = (L1 + 300)/54 —– (1)

    Speed of first train when crosses a pole = S1 = L1/36 —-(2)

    (L1 + 300)/54 = L1/36

    (L1 + 300)/3 = L1/2

    = > 2 L1 + 600 = 3L1

    Length of first train = 600 m

    S1 = 600/36 = 50/3 m/s

    According to the question,

    (L1 + L2)/36 = S1 + S2

    (600 + 400)/36 = (50/3 + S2)

    1000/36 – 50/3 = S2

    = > (1000 – 600)/36 = S2

    = > 400/36 = S2

    S2 = 400/36 * 18/5 = 40 kmph

  8. Person 1, 2 and 3 can do the work in 12 days, 24 days and 30 days respectively. They all started working together, after 25% of the work completed 3 leave the job and rest of the work is completed by 1 and 2 together. Find the time taken by 1 and 2 to complete the remaining work

    5 days
    6 days
    4 days
    8 days
    3 days
    Option B
    LCM (12, 24, 30) = 120

    1 completes = 10 units per day

    2 completes = 5 units per day

    3 completes = 4 units per day

    25% of the wok=120 * 25/100 = 30 units

    Remaining work = 120 – 30 = 90

    Time taken by 1 and 2 = 90/15 = 6 days

  9. Harsha bought 240 liter of milk. That has the milk and water in the ratio of 9:11. If harsha added 120 liter of pure milk in the mixture, then what is the percentage of water in the new mixture?

    54%
    36.66%
    93%
    66%
    12.45%
    Option B
    Milk = 9/20 * 240 = 108

    Water = 11/20 * 240 = 132

    After adding 120 liter milk = 108 + 120 = 228

    Total quantity = 240 + 120 = 360

    Required percentage = 132/360 * 100 = 36.66%

  10. Lalith and Hemanth can do the piece of work in 20 days. Hemanth is 25% more efficient than Lalith. If Arijith joins with them and the work finished in 15 days, and then find the number of days Arijith alone complete the work?

    50 days
    40 days
    60 days
    30 days
    27 days
    Option

    lalith/hemanth = 4/5

    1/5x + 1/4x = 1/20

    9/20x = 1/20

    x = 9 days

    1/45 + 1/36 + 1/arijith = 1/15

    1/arijith = 1/15 – 1/45 – 1/36

    1/arijith = (36 – 12 – 15)/540 = 1/60
