  1. What could be the possible age of F?
    A) 20 years
    B) 26 years
    C) 28 years
    D) 31 years
    E) 23 years
    View Answer
     Option D
    Solution:
B at second place from bottom, and B > E
    C > D. A > D and A < C , so C > A > D. Now B < F and C is not oldest. so F is oldest
    Order from older to youngest is — F > C > A > D > B > E
So possible age of F > 29 years.
  2. If third younger is aged 23 years, then what is the age difference between C and D?
    A) 5 years
    B) 6 years
    C) 4 years
    D) 8 years
    E) Cannot be determined
    View Answer
     Option B
    Solution:
    C = 29, third younger = D = 23 years, so C – D = 29-23 = 6 years

Directions (3-4): Point C is 4 m to the west of point D. Point B is 2 m north of point C. Point F is 6 m west of point E. Point D is 3 m north of point E. Point B is 8 m east of point A. Point F is 4 m north of point G.

  1. What is the direction of point G with respect to point A?
    A) South-west
    B) South-east
    C) North-west
    D) North-east
    E) Cannot be determined
    View Answer
     Option B
    Solution:

    A) 2 m
    B) 3 m
    C) 1 m
    D) 4 m
    E) Cannot be determined
    View Answer
     Option A
    Solution:

  3. In 1 is added to all odd digits and 2 is subtracted from all even digits in the number ‘4365182’, then what is the sum of digits (consider only once) which repeat in the number thus formed?
    A) 6
    B) 8
    C) 10
    D) 12
    E) None of these
    View Answer
     Option D
    Solution:
    4365182 -> 2446260
    So required sun = 2+4+6 = 12
  4. Elina starts from her home in east direction. After covering 6 m, she takes a left turn and walks for 2 m. Now she takes a left turn again and walks for 3 m. After this she takes a right turn and walks for another 3 m. Next, takes a right turn and walks for 10 m. Now finally she takes a right turn and stops after walking 14 m. Find her distance from the home?
    A) 5√2 m

    B) 5√5 m
    C) 5√10 m
    D) 2√5 m
    E) None of these
    View Answer
     Option C
    Solution:

    Horizontal distance = 10+(6-3) = 13 m
    Vertical distance = 14-(3+2) = 9m
    So required distance = √(13^2 + 9^2) = 5√10 m
  5. If in number ‘45136925’, 1 is added to and 2 is subtracted from alternate digits in the number respectively, then the new number thus formed will contain how many even digits?
