Quantity of P removed = 5/(5+3) × 16 = 10 litres
Quantity of Q removed = 3/(5+3) × 16 = 6 litres

⇒ 25𝑥 − 50 = 9𝑥 + 30
⇒ 16𝑥 = 80
⇒ 𝑥 = 5
