  1. 7/15 of 12/11 of 1/ 5 of 7425 = x% of 5400
    5
    14
    21
    24
    17
    Option B
    7/ 15 of 12/11 of 1/5 of 7425 = x% of 5400
    x = (7×12×7425)/(15×11×5×54)
    x = 14

  2. 1596 × 189 ÷ 49 – 3398 + 1564 =?
    4200
    3188
    4322
    6110
    5125
    Option C
    1596 × 189 ÷ 49 – 3398 + 1564 = ?
    = 1596/49 × 189 – 3398 + 1564
    = 6156 –3398 + 1564
    = 4322

  3. 125% of 7/6 of x = 84% of 1250
    805
    771
    851
    720
    522
    Option D
    125% of 7/6 of x = 84% of 1250
    x = 84/100 × 1250 × 6/7 × 100/125
    x = 720

  4. 58.33% of 408 + 62.5% of 360 = 18 × ?
    11
    13
    26
    10
    15
    Option C
    58.33% of 408 + 62.5% of 368 = 18 × ?
    7/12 × 408 + 5/8 × 368 = 18 ×
    x 238 + 230 = 18x
    x = 468/18
    x = 26

  5. 1206 ÷ 47.92 + 40.11 × 16.96 = ?
    705
    715
    625
    695
    813
    Option A
    1206 ÷ 47.92 + 40.11 × 16.96 = ?
    = 1200/48 + 40 × 17
    = 25 + 680
    = 705

  6. A batsman average run rate was 60 runs in 50 innings. Difference between the highest and the lowest score was 180. If these two innings are not included the average of remaining 48 innings becomes 58. Find his lowest score.
    11
    21
    14
    18
    19
    Option D
    Total runs = 60 × 50 = 3000 runs
    After excluding two innings.
    Total runs = 48 × 58 = 2784 runs
    H + L = 216, and H – L = 180
    Lowest score = 18 runs

  7. An equal amount of sum is invested in two schemes for 5 years each, both offering simple interest. The interest amount obtained at 14% is Rs.1000 more than that obtained at 10%. What is the total sum invested?
    10,000
    11,400
    13,320
    16,620
    17,830
    Option
    Difference in interests = Rs.1000
    Difference in rate = 14– 10 = 4%
    Time = 5 year
    In 5 year, rate of interest = 4% × 5 = 20%
    20% = 1000
    100% = (1000 × 100)/20 = Rs. 5000
    Total amount invested in both the schemes = 10,000

  8. Two men together start a journey in the same direction. They travel 12 and 20 km/day respectively. After travelling for 8 days the man travelling at 12 km/day doubles his speed and both of them finish the distance in the same time. Find the number of days taken by them to reach the destination.
    20
    14
    25
    16
    24
    Option E
    Distance will be equal.
    so, 12 * 8 + 24 * x = 20 * 8 + 20 * x
    x = 16 days
    Total = 16 + 8 = 24

  9. A dealer sells his goods at 20% loss on cost price but uses 40% less weight. What is his percentage profit or loss?
    30(1/3) %
    35(1/5) %
    33(1/3) %
    24(1/2) %
    31(1/3) %
    Option C
    Here ,a = 20 , b = 40
    Required answer = (40 -20)*100/(100- 40)
    = 33(1/3) %

  10. A basket contains 8 Red and 6 Pink toys. There is another basket which contains 7 Red and 8 Pink toys. One toy is to drawn from either of the two baskets. What is the probability of drawing a Pink toys?
    101/210
    100/210
    98/211
    101/214
    101/200
    Option A
    Probability of one basket = 1/2
    1st Basket Pink toy probability = 1/2* (6c1/14c1)
    2nd Basket Pink toy probability = 1/2* (8c1/15c1)
    Adding both = (1/2*6/14) + (1/2*4/15) 3/14+4/15
    = 101/210
