Quant Test for SBI PO 2018 Prelim Exam Set – 32

Hello Aspirants

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

    => n = 9

  8. Peter got 30% of the maximum marks in an examination and failed by 10 marks. However, Paul who took the same examination got 40% of the total marks and got 15 more than the passing marks in the examination. What were the passing marks in the examination ?

  10. 6 men can complete a piece work in 12 days. 8 women can complete the same piece of work in 18 days whereas 18 children can complete the piece of work in 10 days. 4 men, 12 women and 20 children work together for 2 days. If only men were to complete the remaining work in 1 day how many men would be required totally ?

    Remaining work = ½ M1*D1/W1 = M2*D2/W2
    => 1/2 × 6 × 12 = l × M2
    => M2 = 36 = Number of men
