Quant Test for SBI PO 2018 Prelim Exam Set – 50

Hello Aspirants

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

  7. Rubina decided to donate 16% of her monthly salary to an NGO. On the day of donation she changed her mind and donated Rs. 6,567 which was 75% of what she had decided earlier. How much is Rubina’s monthly salary ?

    According to the question, 75% of 16% of x = 6567

  8. A car covers a distance of 528 km. in a certain time at a speed of 66 km./hr. How much distance would a truck cover at an average speed which is 24 km hr. less than that of the speed of the car in time which is 7 hours more than that taken by the car?

    Time taken by car = 528/66 = 8 hours
    Case II:
    Time =15 hours
    Speed = 66 – 24 = 42 kmph

  9. 15 men can complete a work in 210 days. They started the work but at the end of 10 days 15 additional men, with double efficiency, were inducted. How many days in all did they take to finish the work ?

    If the rates of interest be r1 and r2% per annum,
    then [2200 *4(r1-r2)]/100
    = 202.40
    => r1-r2 = 202.40*100/2200*4 = 2.3% per annum
