  6. The sum of eight consecutive even numbers of set-A is 376. What is the sum of different set of five consecutive numbers whose lowest number is 15 more than the mean of set-A ?
    220
    320
    330
    400
    120
    Option B
    Mean of set A = 376/8 = 47
    The lowest number of second set = 47 + 15 = 62
    Required = 62 + 63 + 64 + 65 + 66 = 320

  7. Sunetra invested an amount of Rs. 50,000 to start a software business. After six months Nikhil joined her with an amount of Rs 80,000. At the end of 3 years they earned a profit of Rs. 24,500. What is Sunetra’s share in in the profit ?

    Rs. 15,500
    Rs. 12,000
    Rs. 10,500
    Option E
    The ratio of capital invested by each partner i.e. Sunetra and Nikhil for in order to get the same profit is : 36 × 50000 : 30 × 80000 = 3 : 4
    Share of Sunetra out of Rs. 24500 = Rs.3/7 × 24500 = Rs. 10,500

    20%
    Option A
    𝐷𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 = 𝑝𝑟 ^2/ 100^2
    =>180 = 18000𝑟^ 2/100 × 100
    =>180 × 100 × 100 = 1800𝑟^2
    => r=10%

  9. A running track is in the form of a circular whose inner circumference is 396m and outer circumference is 528m. Find the width of the track.
    12 m
    35 m

    40 m
    Option D
    𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑟 𝐶𝑖𝑟𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡h𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘 = 396𝑚
    =>2𝜋𝑟 = 396
    => 𝑟 = (396 × 7)/( 22 × 2) = 63𝑚
    𝑂𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐶𝑖𝑟𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡h𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘 = 528𝑚
    => 2𝜋𝑅 = 528 𝑅
    = (528 × 7)/( 2 × 22)= 84𝑚
    𝑊𝑖𝑑𝑡h 𝑜𝑓 𝑡h𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘 = 84 − 63 = 21 m
