Number of girls who failed in college A = 4000 – 2400 = 1600
Required ratio = 1500 : 1600 = 15 : 16

2. Number of girls who passed is what percent of the number of failed students in college D ?

Total number of boys in college D = 7000 * (100/ 100 -30) = 10000

Required percentage = (5000/ 10500 ) * 100 = 47.62%
