    q3
    Ratio of the profit = 23:20

    Therefore,

    500*(100/50)*[(23+20)/(23-20)] = 14333.33
    isme konsa formula apply kiya gaya hai?

    1. $~$PrAdeEP$K$~$~$

      see here…:)
      profit ratio =23:20 => 23+20 =43
      now assume any no.which is the multiple of 43 ryt
      so let it be 172
      now half of the profit is divided equally between both person p1 and p2
      so 1/2 profit =172/2 =86 now this is equally divided between both ie 86/2 =43 each
      now remaining profit =172 -86 =86
      now again p1 =23/43*86 =46 & p2 =20/43*86 =40
      now individual profits of both
      p(1) =43+46 =89
      p(2) =43+40 =83
      => diff =6
      now 6 =500 => 172 =14333.33
