Reasoning Test for SBI PO 2018 Prelim Exam – Set 49

Hello Aspirants

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

Directions (1-6):

Six persons – Avantika, Caryl, Daksh, Elvish, Fana, and Giri live in eight different floors of building (but not necessarily in the same order). Two of the floors in the building are vacant. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the one above that is numbered two, and so on till the topmost floor is numbered eight. Each one of them also likes a different mobile networks namely Airtel , Aircel , Vodafone , Idea , Jio and BSNL (but not necessarily in the same order).The number of floors above Fana is same as the number of floors between Fana and Daksh. Fana lives an odd numbered floor above the floor numbered four. There are three people live between the two vacant floors. Only three floors between Daksh and the one who likes Idea. The one who likes Jio lives immediately above Giri. Only three floors between Giri and Avantika. The one who likes BSNL lives immediately above the one who likes Airtel. Caryl lives immediately above the one who likes Vodafone. The number of floors between Fana and the one who likes Aircel is only one. The one who likes Aircel lives immedately below the one of the vacant floors. The floor number of the vacant floors are even number. Only two floors are there between the one who likes BSNL and Idea. Caryl lived immediately below the one of the vacant floors and not on the ground floor. Caryl neither lived on floor number 5 nor floor number 3. The one who likes Aircel live on one of the floors below the floor number 4.
