State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

Directions (1-6):
Aviral, Banya, Ceon, Diksha, Evram, Fauzia, Girman, and Hari are eight friends who live in an eight-storey building. The ground floor is numbered one and the topmost floor is numbered eight. Each of them is applying for the different exam, viz NICL , NIACL , OICL , UIIC , GIC , IRDA , NABARD and RBI but not necessarily in the same order. There is only one floor between Aviral and the floor on which person who is applying for RBI lives. The person who applies in RBI does not live on floor number 1. Diksha lives just below Banya. The one who applies in NICL lives on an even-numbered floor and just above the floor on which person who applies in GIC lives. The person who applies in IRDA lives on an even-numbered floor but not on the 8th floor. Neither Diksha nor Hari lives on the 1st floor. Only one person lives between the one who applies in NABARD and Diksha. Aviral lives on an odd-numbered floor and Evram lives just above Aviral. Banya lives on the fourth floor. Only two persons live between the person who applies in IRDA and Aviral. Fauzia lives just below the one who applies in GIC. Diksha is applying neither for GIC nor for RBI. The person who applies in OICL does not live on an odd-numbered floor. Girman is not applying for NIACL. There are two floors between the floor on which Hari lives and the floor on which Evram lives. Only two persons live between the one who is applying in UIIC and the one in OICL.
