Reasoning Test for SBI PO 2018 Prelim Exam – Set 68 (PUZZLE BASED ON SBI PO FIRST SHIFT)

Hello Aspirants

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

Practice the questions so as to familiarize yourself with the pattern of questions to be asked in the exam. 


 

Directions (1-5):

Shruti, Taru, Udita, Varsha, Wasim, Xeon, Yash and Zack are sitting in a straight line equidistant from each other (but not necessarily in same order). Some of them are facing north while some are facing south. (NOTE: Facing same direction means, if one is facing north then the other also faces north and vice-versa. Facing the opposite directions means, if one is facing north then the other faces south and vice-versa.).
Shruti faces north. Only two people sits to right of Shruti. Taru sits third to the left of Shruti. Only one person sits between Taru and Xeon. Xeon sits to the immediate right of Wasim. Only one person sits between Wasim and Zack. Both the immediate neighbours of Taru faces the same direction. Udita sits third to the left of Xeon. Taru faces the opposite direction as Shruti. Yash does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line. Varsha faces the same direction as Wasim. Both Yash and Udita face the opposite direction of Zack.

Only one copy is placed in each almirah. The copy R is placed in odd numbered almirah. Only one copy is placed between copy R and copy Q. Copy Q is placed below copy R. As many copies placed between copy P and copy S is same as between copy Q and copy T. Copy T is placed above copy Q but not immediately above. The copy S is placed below copy P.
