In a college have three different degrees D1, D2 and D3.

In 2013, the total number of students in the college is 120, in 40% are D1 students and 20% are D2 students.

In 2014, the number of students of D1 and D3 is 125% and 112.5% of the number of students of D1 and D3 students in previous year. The ratio of the number of students of D2 and D3 is 2:3.

In 2015, the number of students of D1, D2 and D3 is 40, 50 and 36 respectively.

In 2016, the total number of students in the college is 20% more than that of the number of students in 2014. The number of students of the D1, D2 and D3 in the ratio of 2:5:3.

In 2017, the number of students of D1, D2 and D3 is 8, 5 and 4 greater than the number of students in previous year respectively.

    2013:

    Total number of students = 120

    D1 = 40/100 * 120 = 48

    D2= 20/100 * 120 = 24

    D3 = 120 – (48 + 24) = 48

    2014:

    D1 = 125/100 * 48 = 60

    D3= 112.5/100 * 48 = 54

    D2= 2/3 * 54 = 36

    Total = 150

    2015:

    D1 = 40

    D2 = 50

    D3 = 36

    Total = 126

    2016:

    Total = 150 * 120/100 = 180

    D1= 2/10 * 180 = 36

    D2= 5/10 * 180 = 90

    D3 = 3/10 * 180 = 54

    2017:

    D1= 36 + 8 = 44

    D2 = 90 + 5 = 95

    According to the question,

    (1/3x) – (1/5x) = 1/30

    2x / (3x * 5x) = 1/30

    Person1 alone can finish a work in = 3x = 12 days

    friend1’s present age = 21 years

    friend2’s present age = 24 years

    Present age of man = 45 years

    Required ratio = 45 : (21 + 4) = 45 : 25 = 9 : 5

    Sp = 100 * (80/100) = Rs. 80
