now this sentence; many of his plans failed for earning money quickly; gives half meaning; that many of the plans failed but it is possible that some of them did not fail; like from 10 only 8 plans failed.

We are yet to finish this exercise as there still three sentences. ques 1 …why this sentence is wrong?

    1. Suraj

this sentence is correct; But not given in option..

      1. Jasveen Singh Makkar

Yet to finish is in the option as a connector

        1. Suraj

but in connectors we have to start the sentence with the given options

We are yet…… IF this was one of the option then your sentence would have been right

          1. Jasveen Singh Makkar

i have solved some questions in which connectors are used in the middle. I thought we are not supposed to change the meaning, tense and subject of the sentence and the position of connector could be anywhere in the sentence.

          2. Suraj

In exams the instruction was clearly mentioned to start the sentence with the given phrase.. so can neglect that

          3. Jasveen Singh Makkar

            ok thanks..
but if it we have to use anywhere then the option will follow?

          4. Suraj

            yes then it will follow

          5. Suraj

do the ques as per the instruction given in the ques: the one you are saying can be like this : http://aspirantszone.com/english-sentence-connectors-set-1/
