    object (grammar): a noun, noun phrase, or pronoun that receives the action of a verb or completes the meaning of a preposition

    Phrasal verb : main verb combine with a preposition or adverb particle.
    eg:
    main verb – “put”
    phrasal verb = “put up; put on” etc etc.

    Four Basic types of Phrasal Verbs:
    Type 1.
    Verb+particle+Object / Verb+Object+particle

    eg:
    i. Take off your shoes. (or) Take your shoes off.
    ii. Put up your hands (or) put your hands up.
    * But when the object is a pronoun , it can only go before the particle
