Directions (1 – 5): Study the following information to answer the given questions:

Eight friends – A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table in which half are facing outside and other half inside. All 4 facing a same direction are not adjacent to each other. They have different sports hobbies – Basketball, Tennis, Chess, Hockey, Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, and Badminton, but not necessarily in the same order. They are from different states – Punjab, UP, Haryana, J&K, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand and Delhi, but not necessarily in the same order.
G is sitting second to the left of the one who is from Delhi. The one who plays cricket is opposite the one who is from UP and they are not facing each other. C is from Gujarat and plays Chess. The one from Haryana is second to the right of G. A who plays Hockey is third to the right of B who is from Punjab and both are facing same direction. The one who plays Football is immediate to the right of one who is from Delhi. G is adjacent to the one who plays Cricket and the one from UP does not play Football. The one from Jharkhand plays Badminton and is opposite to C and he faces back of C. E who plays Kabaddi is third to the right of one from Delhi. F is sitting second to the left of G. E is sitting opposite the one who plays Cricket. The one from J&K faces inside and is fourth to left of D who is from Rajasthan. H is sitting to the immediate right of the one who plays Tennis.

Directions (6 – 10): Study the following information to answer the given questions:

Eight people A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H live on eight different floors of a building (numbered 1 to 8) but not necessarily in the same order. They are from eight different states – Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Odisha, Manipur, Bihar, Goa and Telangana but not necessarily in the same order.
They have different cars – I20, Santro, Nissan. At least two persons have same car and not more than 3 persons have same car.
The one who works at Odisha lives on an even- numbered floor. Only three people live between the one who is from Odisha and C. Those who have Santro live at odd – numbered floor – but not at the ground floor. Only one person lives between the persons who are from Goa and Telangana. There is a person who has Santro, between the ones who are from Goa and Telangana. The one from Telangana lives at second floor. Only two people live between C and D. D does not live on the lowersmost floor. One of the person which has Nissan lives on the topmost floor. There is an equal gap of floors between two pairs of floors at which the persons having Nissan live. The gap is of two floors.
Only three people live between D and the one who is from Manipur and only two people live between A and the one who is from Goa. E lives immediately above A. E lives on an even- numbered floor. A is not from Manipur. A does not live either at floor number 3 or 5.
B lives immediately above G. Only one person lives between G and one who is from Punjab. The one who is from Bihar lives immediately above the one who is from Haryana. F is not from Odisha and A is nor from Kerala. F does live on ground floor and the one who is from Kerala live immediately below the one from Goa.

    @shubhra in 1st puzzle it’s given that all facing same direction are not adjacent to each other but in your solution it doesn’t fallow

    1. It is saying ~ All 4 facing a same direction are not adjacent to each other.

      Means all 4 cannot be adjacent. 2 or 3 can b
