    like A lot of DOGS like to play.

      no we cannot count space in this context.. so we cannot use spaces…

    here in this sentence “His father still TRUSTS him though he had deceived him” will be correct i think

      no it is absolutely correct.. just there is difference of tense… the ques is in past participle.. so it conveys the correct meaning…
