  1. Clamour – shout loudly and insistently.

  2. Reassert – to state with assurance, confidence, or force; state strongly or positively

  5. Posit – put forward as fact or as a basis for argument.

  6. Augur – to divine or predict

  7. Cling – hold tightly

  9. Cobble – to put together roughly or clumsily.

  10. Aloof – removed or distant either physically or emotionally

    • Synonyms: detached, distant, indifferent, unresponsive, unsympathetic
    • Antonyms: concerned, friendly, sociable, familiar
    • Usage: He is aloof and does not talk to anyone.
