12 family members – Rahul, Preeti, Sahil, Rani, Seema, Amit, Dheeraj, Parul, Kavya, Manish, Neena, and Nitin have birthdays in January, February, March, July, September and December. February has 28 days. The birthday is either on 22 or 28 on any of the months. They have different ages. Also the age of the ones having birthday in months having odd number of days is even and vice-versa. Like if Sahil has birthday in February (even number of days), his age is an odd number.
Preeti’s birthday is on February 22. Her birthday is before the birthday of the one having age 36 years. Age of Manish is 11 years. 3 people have birthdays between Manish’s and Seema’s birthday. Manish’s birthday is not on 22nd of any month. 3 people have birthdays between Sahil and one having age 68 years. Sahil’s birthday is before the one having age 68 years. 2 people have birthdays between Kavya and one having age 68 years. Rahul and Kavya have birthdays in same month. Sahil’s birthday is not in March. 2 people have birthdays between Amit and one having age 8 years. Amit’s birthday is before the one having age 8 years. Amit’s birthday is not in September. Rahul is not the youngest member in the family. Nobody has age less than 8 years. 2 people have birthdays between Rahul and one having age 23 years. Sum of ages of Preeti and Amit is 105 years. Sum of ages of Nitin and Kavya is 10 less than the age of Preeti. Neena and one having age 40 years have birthdays in same month. Neena’s age is less than 40 years. 4 people have birthdays between Rahul and one having age 40 years. The average age of Neena and Rani is 45 years. Sum of ages of Neena and Kavya is 6 less than that of Dheeraj’s age. The average age of Sahil, Seema and Neena is 24 years. The age difference in Sahil’s and Seema’s age is 18 years. Sahil is younger to Seema. Age of one of the members is 64 years.

Now Manish = 11 so can be on
28 Feb, 22 Sept or 28 Sept.
But given Manish not on any 22nd.
So 28 Feb or 28 Sept. Three between Manish and Seema
This gives 2 possibilities.
Now use:
3 people have birthdays between Sahil and one having age 68 years. Sahil’s birthday is before the one having age 68 years. 2 people have birthdays between Kavya and one having age 68 years. Rahul and Kavya have birthdays in same month. Sahil’s birthday is not in March.
2 people have birthdays between Amit and one having age 8 years. Amit’s birthday is before the one having age 8 years. Amit’s birthday is not in September. Rahul is not the youngest member in the family.
This makes 3 possibilities.
Now Nobody is below is 8 years old and Rahul is not the youngest member in the family. So 1st possibility gets cancelled.
Now – 2 people have birthdays between Rahul and one having age 23 years.
So 2nd gets cancelled, because 23 cannot come in July (31 days) month. Now proceed with 3rd possibility. One with 23 age will have birthday on 28 Feb.
Neena’s age is even no. and Rani + Neena = 90, so Rani’s also even number, so cannot be 23. Now if Rani’s = 40, Neena will be 50 years old, but her age is below 40, so Rani’s birthday on 28 Jan.
Preeti s birthday is before the birthday of the one one having age 36 years. So Rahul = 36. Rani = 64. Final arrangement:
