I think the issue that is raised is a political gimmick and nothing more than that ..next year elections are due in karnataka so to increase its vote bank karnataka govt is playing these type of games and diverting the attention from real issues that need to be considered ,,till now only j n k is allowed to have its own flag under sec 370 but no other state has this flag and if karnatka allowed to have it , demand may rise in all other states as well and may lead to national upheaval and it can in future, lead to separatist demand of the state as we have seen in the past too in some states like j n k and punjab etc , besides tricolor binds our country together and is the symbol of unity in diversity and this type of move can reduce its importance . so in my opinion , it should not be given much importance and rather energy should be spent on the real issues that need dire attention of govt. 😐
