Reasoning Test for SBI PO 2018 Prelim Exam – Set 1

Hello Aspirants

State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct examination for its recruitment for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO 2018) for a total of 2000 vacancies.

The examination will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. The Preliminary Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th & 8th of July 2018. Details of the exam are as under:

Direction (1-5):
Eight students S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z have sat for different exams ,viz. CAT, SAT , MAT, IBPS, SNAP, BITSAT, BEL, XAT but not necessarily in the same order.There are five boys and three girls in this group.Each boy and each girl has sat from his/her city ,viz. Coimbotore, Dewas , Madurai, Kerala , Pondicherry , Raiganj , Gonda and Allahabad.No boy has sat from Raiganj and Kerala. W has sat for BITSAT from Allahabad. The one who has sat for BEL is neither from Madurai nor from Kerala. T has sat for SNAP. His sister U has sat for MAT from Coimbatore. The one who belongs to Dewas has sat for CAT. The one who has sat from Madurai is not a girl. V has sat for IBPS and her friend has sat from CAT. X is from Gonda and has not sat either for BEL or XAT. The one who has sat for XAT has sat neither from Pondicherry nor from Madurai. Z has sat from Kerala. S does not sat from Pondicherry. Four of the five are alike in a certain way and hence form a group.
