Question.5. The sands of Mars, which hold the biggest dunes in the solar system, could contain up to 50% snow and ice, a US scientist told the British Association festival of science meeting in Dublin yesterday. The discovery could be of enormous significance. President George Bush has named Mars as the destination for a manned mission in the next 30 years. Nasa and the European Space Agency both plan orbiter missions and robot landings in the next decade. Researchers are also anxious to settle the dispute over whether Mars was ever home to life, and whether microbial life could still endure beneath the soil. Without water, there can be no life.
Which of the following, if true, most strongly supports the view expressed in the passage?
(1) The planet’s dunes seem to have been deluged by water.
(2) Sand dunes occur pretty much everywhere on planets.
(3) Years ago there were meteor showers at these locations on Mars; that indicates potential of finding evidence of life in these sand dunes.
(4) Landmarks include huge alluvial fans in the sand, river-like drainage patterns, laminated sediments of the kind found on Earth in the dry valleys of Antarctica.
(5) Mars periodically changes its tilt dramatically, increasing the severity and violence of its winters.
ye jo 5 options hai…isme kaun sa true hai jo above passage ko support karta hai? right???
4th seems to be correct.
Passage me mars pe kbi life thi ya nhi. Aisa find out karna chahte h.
To agar earth like landmarks vahn milte h to vahn life hgi.
Like yahn dry valleys of Antarctica h. vahn b phr dry ho gya hga
right…ok…but.. Which of the following, if true, most strongly supports the view expressed in the passage??ye samj mai nai ata ..
U have to let ki ye sare points wrong hai.
Ab vo point find karna hai jo agar true ho jata hai to strongly support krega passage ko.
So ye point jada strong hai. Cz isse pta chal jaega ki mars pe kabi phle life thi ya nhi
ohoo..ok mam ..thank u … 🙂

mam mujhe is para ka means samja di jiye
The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had claimed that his budget was “pro-farmer” and “pro-poor,” and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had even stated that the aim was to “double” farmer income in five years. (The farmers who took him seriously would have assumed that he meant this in real terms, namely, adjusting for inflation.) Liberals in government must surely also be cynical; for everyone discounts the official hype that goes with the marketing—packaging, more precisely—of union budgets.
yes ??
mam jo para post kya hai uska means samja di jiye
2 cars hai, ek A point pe, dusri B point pe.
dono start karti hai with given speeds
first A to B jati hai, without wasting time dubara A point pe jati hai, fir se B pe, A pe, B pe , and so on – 20 hours tak aise hi karti rhti hai
same as with second car, starts from B, goes to A, then without wasting time, returns to B, then to A – 20 hours tak ye bhi
not that ques mam 🙁
Ohh. I dint see that this para before
ok mam
The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had claimed that his budget was “pro-farmer” and “pro-poor,” and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had even stated that the aim was to “double” farmer income in five years. (The farmers who took him seriously would have assumed that he meant this in real terms, namely, adjusting for inflation.) Liberals in government must surely also be cynical; for everyone discounts the official hype that goes with the marketing—packaging, more precisely—of union budgets.
mam me is para ka means punch rhi hu
Here pro means some in favor if something.
So the para means ki FM me kha hai ki unka budget farmers n poor k favor me hai and PM ne even kha ki ki aim is to double farmers income.
Jin farmers ne in baton ko seriously le liya hai, unhone assume kar liya hga ki FM ka matlab sahi me yhi hai.
Govt me jo liberal log hai vo b cynical hi hai – means apna benefit hi dhundte hai, everyone disregards with the official hype or publicity of union budget
Two cars start simultaneously from cities A and B, towards B and A respectively, on the same route. Once the two cars reach their destinations they turned around and move towards the other city without any loss of time. The two cars continue shuttling in this manner for exactly 20 hours. If the speed of the car starting from A is 60km/hr and the speed of the car starting from B is 40km/hr and the distance between the two cities is 120 km, find the number of times the two cars cross each other?
plz solve this ques
no need to do these type of ques, they dont come in exam
ok mam 🙂
in this ques, no particular pattern can be seen
We ll have to count their every meet
1st car takes 2 hours to complete a round, 2nd takes 3 hours
Now in first round, they meet 1st time.
When 2nd car reaches A, 1st car has returned from point B and has reached half way.
Now 2nd car returns from point A. In next 3 hours both reach point B. so here they have met 2 times.
Now both start, 1st car reaches A, it returns, meets 2nd car (4th time), In next two hours. 1st car reches B, 2nd car somewhere in between.
In next two hours, 1st car reaches A, and 2nd car reaches B (meets for 5th time)
count hours, 1st car has drove 10 hrs and they have meet 5 times. so in next 10 hrs, 5 times more.
total 10 times in 20 hrs
thanku 🙂
mam r u there
Yes . Say ?
yes sir
upto which moths ca is requred for exams like back 3 months from date of eexamination is enough ??
most questions come from last 3 months only.
but 3 to 4 questions can come from previous months too. So do back 3 months CA for sure . And if have time do for 6 months.
ty mam and what about static portion from ca or genral like hydro power etc ?
it can come from anywhere
can come from ca or general too
kk ty mam 🙂
one more thing mam how to increse calcu speed in di
only practice can help
learn tables upto 20
kk ty mam and mam i have doubt realted sums if you free then bt dena ek cheez samjhni thi mam
yes, u paste ur doubts here
I will solve.
mam like jo equation hoti hai na in form
1/x+2-1/x-4==15/20
or 1/x+2+2/x+4==12
mam inki quadtaric equation dosnt know how to make
only singn and lcm etc nhi ata baki rest i know
how to convert it these type of sums in quadratic equation and what have to take lcm and what aboubt the + – i wana learn it mam
(1/x) + 2 – (1/x) – 4 = 15/20
equation ye h ya kuch or ??
mam its assume figure i just wana learn way how to convert it into quadratic equation just
ok ok
equation is 1/(x+2) – 1/(x-4) = 3/4
in left hand side
take (x+2) * (x-4) as LCM
[1 * (x-4) – 1 * (x+2)] / (x+2) * (x-4) = 3/4
now
[x – 4 – x – 2] / (x^2 – 2x – 8) = 3/4
[ – 6] / (x^2 – 2x – 8) = 3/4
now
4 * (-6) = 3 (x^2 – 2x – 8)
4 * (-2) = (x^2 – 2x – 8)
equation: x^2 – 2x – 8 + 8 = 0
x^2 – 2x = 0
see if u get doubt in any step
ty mam will learn and ask if doubt arises
Examples:
4/(x+5) + 2/(x-2) = 3
1/(x+5) – 3/(x+2) = 1/4
Find equations. N tell me. I ll check
first
3x^2+3x-28==0
second
x^2+15x+62==0 ??
check first one: 3x^2+3x-32==0
second is correct
so now u got ?
one sec mam +- prob may be litlee bit
yes mam ty 🙂
🙂
4/(x+5) + 2/(x-2) = 3
4(x-2)+2(x+5)/x^2+5x-2x-10===3
4x-8+2x+10==3x^2+9x-30
6x+2===3x^2+9x-30
3x^2+3x-32===0
mam
1/(x-5) +1/(x-4) ==1
assume
iska equation
(x-4)-(x-5)/x^2-9x+20
=== 1/x^2-9x+20 banega mam ??
+ hai beech me
But while solving u have put minus sigh
Final equation is
X^2 – 11x + 29 = 0
is cashless dream or reality
After demonetization , PM Modi has announced to make India cashless . This slogan of PM Modi give digtal india scheme a wholly new dimension , with electronically executed economic transaction and settlement . Making this an immediate and medium term , objective is plucky to say the least since more then 90% of economic transaction held with cash in day today india . the same condition is with other developing countries , while in developed countries more then 90% economic transaction reportedly settled digitally without cash . PM Modi’s government believes that after world beaten software service export , this may take a swift move quickly . The two realities are missed in this over the top discourse . The first one is india is far from being connected enough able to accommodate the digital execution of million of transactions across the country in a day . second is that there is no. of counties , in rural india , in informal economic and among poors which is out of the digital transaction as they have to cross the hurdles.
Those hurdles make them out to access internet . According to the survey of international telecommunication , then no. of internet users in india has raisen from negligible no. to 26% from 1990 to 2015 which is fas less then china (50.3), us (74.5%) , south korea (89.9%). In a recent survey by a ASSOCHAM too reveal that “internet is out of the reach of 950 million indians ” .In india 1600 languages and dialects are also a language barrier .
one of the problem , of cause , that the access of hardware that help individual to access internet. crucial to this is internet backbone that carries digital signals and last mile give that link to users to access internet .India jumped directly to the mobile connectivity before the process of laying the fixed line infrastructure . Slow connectivity and unclear telephonic calls is also a problem . The internet connectivity is very expensive and this may people out of the reach of internet connectivity
Thus , beside language barrier and digital literacy network backbone , slow internet connectivity and huge charges make the prople out of the reach of internet .Without digital base , road of a near cashless economy seems long and journey is likely to be slow and tedious
@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam plz check it
Hi… here are some of the errors which you can correct in the first paragraph..
Slogan word doesnot suits here. It can be replaced by idea
whole new dimension
then=>than
are held in cash in todays India.
are reportedly settled without cash.
there are more errors, and there are few lines whose meaning is not clear.. Reply here and i will tell u those lines so that u can explain me, what u meant by those lines… And then I will tell in detail every correction…
plz tell sir
PM Modi’s government believes that after world beaten software service export , this may take a swift move quickly .
Is line ka matlab batao hindi me hi,, ki kya kehna chahti ho..then i will tell ki kaise correct kr sakte hai
means
modi jo ko lagta hai ki software export me or countries se aage nikalne ke baad cash less ka idea bahut jaldi and easily county adopt kar legi
Over the top discourse …
last paragraph me PROPLE use kiya hai,, inko kis sense me use kiya hai?
sir prople is typo
that is people
and over the top discourse isliye kiya ki modi ji apne idea me do sabse important baat hain unko bina consider kiye ye idea swiftly implement kese kar sakte hain
sir isme mene kuch cheeje magzine se bhi copy ki hain
acha ye discourse wali line magazine se hai kya?
yes sir
ok 10-15 mins me mai sare grammatical errors point out kr ke,, and unka corrections deta hu.. kuch sentences jo gramatically sahi hai, unke alternatives bhi de dunga, jisse wo aur better lage
ok sir
thanku so much
sir kisi topic ko kese start kar plz uske baare me bhi thoda sa plz bata di jiyega
one more thing
kya sir ??
ye line..
second is that there is no. of counties , in rural india , in informal economic and among poors which is out of the digital transaction as they have to cross the hurdles.. Those hurdles make them out to access internet
iska meaning samjhaao.. what u want to express
there is large no. in the country
country ka ek large part rural are me hai , informal econmy pe based hai and poor hai
first part to clear hai..
ye part “as they have to cross the hurdles.. Those hurdles make them out to access internet “
as se hurdles tak alag se likhna chahye tha or second sentance ke sath hurdles batake link karna chaheye tha
🙁
arey koi baat nhi.. i was asking so that i can understand ur idea.. and make a better sentence
ok sir
but in sab se mujhe apni galtiya pta lag rhi hain

For numbers
take last letter * 4
so for earth – h is 8 so 8*4 = 32 so &}32 – earth
and so on
now compare for symbol ‘}’ :
&}32 earth
<>}20 – made
what we see common ??
letter a at second position
so } – a
next compare for $:
$$76 – lives
@$32 – with
what we see in common?
letter i at first or second position – so if i at first position then $ at first position, if i at second position then $ at second position,
next compare for ]:
]<100 – only
+]76 – fool
letter o at first or second position – so if o at first position then ] at first position, if o at second position then ] at second position,
next compare for <<:
<<}56 – rain
=<<20 – now this can be make or tree
but if we compare with rain to find something common, we get =<<20 as tree to make
letter r at first or second position – so if r at first position then << at first position, if r at second position then <>, > and < in the same way
so
A – }
I – $
O – ]
R – <>
L – >
N – <

i am getting more than 1 arrangement of this.
i ll see one more time n vl tell u
see the below solution of coding and ask if any doubt in that
Two trains, A and B, start from stations X and Y
towards each other, they take 4 hours 48 minutes and
3 hours 20 minutes to reach Y and X respectively after
they meet if train A is moving at 45 km/hr., then the
speed of the train B is
(a) 60 km/hr (b) 64.8 km/hr (c) 54 km/hr
(d) 37.5 km/hr (e) None of these
There is a shortcut for these type of ques. When given time to reach destination after trains meet
s1/s2 = root of (t2/ t1)
t1 = 3 hr 20 min = 3 1/3 hrs = 10/3 hrs
t2 = 4 hrs 48 mins = 4 4/5 hrs = 24/5 hrs
t2/t1 = 25/36
So 45/s2 = root of (25/36)
Solve s2 = 54 km per hr
okk mam….lga liya rtta mane bi

Three Science classes A, B and C take a Life Science
test. The average score of students of class A is 83. The
average score of students class B is 76. The average
score of class C is 85. The average score of class A and
B is 79 and average score of class B and C is 81. Then
the average score. Of classes A, B and C is
(a) 80 (b) 80.5 (c) 81
(d) 81.5 (e) None of these
Let no of students in A B C is x y z resp.
Total score of students in A = 83x
Total score of students in B = 76y
Total score of students in C = 85z
Total score of students in A and B = 79 (x+y)
Total score of students in B and C = 82 (y+z)
Now
83x + 76y = 79 (x+y)
And 76y + 85z = 82 (y+z)
Solve these equations and find x and z in terms of y.
x = 3y/4 and z = 2y
Now ans will be (83x+76y+85z)/(x+y+z)
y will remain y. Put x and z in terms of y. y will cancel out n u ll get final ans
ohhk..got it mam..thankuu
if the salary of A and B are in ratio 4:5 and their expenses are in ration 6:7 . find the ratio of their saving if B saves a fourth of its salary
salaries – 4x and 5x
expenses – 6y and 7y
B saves = 1/4 * 5x
Also B saves = 5x – 7y
so 5x – 7y = 5x/4
Solve, 15x = 28 y ………………(1)
we have to find
(5x/4) : [4x – 6y]
Put value of x or y from above (1) and find ratio
A dam has 4 inlet pipes . through the first 3 inlet, the dam can fill in 12 min , throuh the 2 , 3 , 4 pipes it can fill the dam in 15 min , through the 1 and 4 it can fill the dam in 20 mins . How much time it will take to fill the dam by all four pipes
Given:
1/a + 1/b + 1/c = 1/12 ……………(1)
1/b + 1/c + 1/d = 1/15 …………………..(2)
1/a + 1/d = 1/20……………………(3)
Now from 1 n 2, subtract equations we get
1/a – 1/d = 1/60 ……………………(4)
add equations 3 n 4, 1/a = 1/30
from (1), 1/b + 1/c = 1/12 – 1/30 = 1/20 ……………(5)
we have to find
1/a + 1/b + 1/c + 1/d
use (3) and (5)
1/20 + 1/20 = 1/20
so 10 mins – answer
Consider a class of 40 students whose average weight is 40 kgs. m new students join this class whose average weight is n kgs. If it is known that m + n = 50, what is the maximum possible average weight of the class now?
ans – 40
we have to maximize the avg weight
so maximize the total weight, we can have that with m = n = 25
so that m+n = 50 and m*n = 625
if m = 26 and n 24, then m*n = 624 and so on – we ll get smaller values than 625
now max possible av = [(40*40) + 625]/(40+25)
thanku mam 🙂
Vidya leaves the studio every day at 6.00pm to meet salman at 7.00pm at point X stopping anywhere along the way . one day she left the studio at the usual time i.e, 6.00pm and travelled the first half of the distance 3/4 th of her original speed. At what speed must she travel the second half of the distance to reach the point X on time ? 1) 3/2 of usual time 2) 2 times 3) 5/2 times 4 ) 3 times
d = s * t
Vidya has to cover 1/2 distance in 1/2 hour and speed = 3/4 * s
So let she took t1 time
so 1/2 * d = 3/4 * s * t1
so t1 = 2d/3s = 2t/3
so this means now next 1/2 distance she has to cover in 1 – 2/3 = 1/3 of t
so
1/2 * d = s2 * t/3
s2 = 3d/2t = 3s/2
so 3/2 of original speed
thanku 🙂

Startup : illusion or success
Startup success does not come instantly , ofcause it doesn’t come from the big announcement .It comes from the dedication to achieve something real . PM Modi ji has launched the startup mission with the aim to create job across the country rather then being a job seeker. He also launched workshop in this regard , but being successful is not possible for everyone ? College students thinks to become millionary so they embrace business ignoring the daunting statistic which contradict this thinking, such as the fact that 80% startup fail within 18 months . Having an idea is easy, but be able to make it something profitable is what seperate failure and success story. Launching any product doesn’t make someone rich overnight , it takes time.
In the value creation economy, if one failed to discover value he hope to create in marketplace, he can not stand or make his place in market . Either he engage in B2B , B2C and B2B2C business or he launch any product , idea ,app , software , hardware etc. To be successful one should discover the idea that create any value to whom he discovered it .
On the other hand many people thinks that providing fund can not give definite success but not providing it can definitely create failure. For being successful one should keep public interest , national interest , regional interest in its idea . Modi ji has porvided all possible resources to startup , but the reality is Rome cannot built in a day.
So it will take time but how much time, that no one knows
I have highlighted the corrections made.
Startup success does not comes instantly , of course it doesn’t comes from a big announcement .It comes from the dedication to achieve something real . PM Modi ji has launched the startup mission with the aim to create job across the country that will empower people to be a job creator rather then being a job seeker. He also launched workshop in this regard. But is being successful not possible for everyone? College students think to become millionaire so they embrace business ignoring the daunting statistic which contradict this thinking, such as the fact that 80% startup fail within 18 months . Having an idea is easy, but being able to make it something profitable is what separates failure and success story. Launching any product doesn’t make someone rich overnight , it takes time.

So it will take time but how much time, that no one knows….

ok sir 🙂
U can elaborate some points.. like why some startups fail and only few survive…. u can provide some data to show ur point if u get any on the internet..
then what can be done to improve the startup ecosystem.. jaise PM sir ne startup india launch kiya hai to usse aur better krne k liye kya kiya ja sakta hai.. for this u will have to read a lot on internet…

Three boys Aman, Bhanu and Chintu decide to run around a circular track. They start at the same time and run in the same direction. Aman runs the fastest and when Aman finishes a lap, it is seen that Chintu is twice as much behind Bhanu as Bhanu is behind Aman. When Aman completes 2 laps, Chintu is the exact same position on the circular track as Bhanu was when Aman finished 1 lap. Find the ratio of the speeds of Aman, Bhanu and Chintu?
Assume the track in 4 parts
distances as – d/4, d/2, 3d/4, and d
Now when Aman completed 1 lap means d
Bhanu at – 3d/4
Chintu at – d/4
Next Aman completes 1 more lap, means 4 more parts – it makes 2d
also given, Chintu this time at same position as Bhanu earlier means at 3d/4
Now see after 1st roud
Aman covers 4 parts, n Chintu 2 parts (as he reaches the previous position of Bhanu)
by this we can analyze that Bhanu must have covered 3 more parts (between 2 of Chintu and 4 of Aman) so Bhanu covered 3d/4 + 3d/4
So now, in same time
Aman at 2d, Bhanu at 3d/2 and Chintu – 3d/4
so ratio
2d : 3d/2 : 3d/4
8 : 6 : 3

last alphabet in attend is D.. for last alphabet see the aplhabet in reverse order. D is 23rd in reverse order add +1 to it.. 23+1=24, this will be the 1st number of code
attend = 24*3
similarly
SCREW = S=19+2=21 at last , W=4+1=5 in start
=5$21
Code 23%8 for=> follow reverse order…8-2=6 means the word will start with F
end with 23-1=22 in reverse =E and the word is of 4 letter
F_ _ E
now we need to see the options
Sol 2 :
first notice that the alphabet code is the 2nd last alphabet of each word and the number in coding is also related in some way. i.e no of alphabet*1.5
now find out the symbol equivalent using this concept
it depends on starting aplhabet of each word
T-$
A- !
W-&
F-8
N-%
S-/
etc
using this,, shouting = no. of terms *1.5 = 12

logic??
For words:
We have b c f g h w
So step wise is
W b h c g f – from last, then first, then second last, then second….
For numbers what I get is:
Take the factors of all numbers
31 = 1×31
8= 1×2×2×2
12 = 1×2×2×3
14=1×2×7
22=1×2×11
24=1×2×2×2×3
Numbers having least factors first means 31.
Next number having 3 factors. But there are two such numbers. 14 and 22
Smallest number first
So 14
And then 22
Number having 4 factirs ie 8
Then 12
Then 24

Harshita lent out some money at 6% Simple Interest per annum. After one year, Rs.6800 is repaid and the rest of the amount is repaid at 5% per annum. If the second year’s interest is 11/20 of the first year’s interest, find what amount of money was lent out.
A. 18500
B. 10080
C. 17000
D. 18000
E. None of these
Let P=100x
Interest for 1st year = 6x —(i)
Amount after 1 year = 106x
after repayment amount left on which interest will be calculated = Rs (106x – 3800 )
SI for 2nd year(duration is 1 year.. )=(106x-3800)*5*1/100=(106x-3800)/20—-(ii)
equate (i) and (ii) as per condition
(106x-3800)/20 = 11/20 *6x
=>x=170
P=17000
A person sells an article at a profit of 12℅. If he had bought it at 10℅ less and sold it for Rs.25 More,he would have gained 30℅. Find the cost price..?
Let CP=100x
Hence SP=112x
When Cp is 10% less, then CP = 90x
When SP is Rs 25 more then SP = 112x +25
now given that gain =30%
we have CP,SP and gain%, use the formula and find x
112x +25 =130/100 (90x)
get x and then CP=100x
A pack of cards contains 52 cards. If a card is picked at random what is the probability that the card is a face card or a spade?
Face card are king, queen and jack.
So there are 4 ×3 = 12 face cards
And there are 13 spade cards.
We want face card or spade.
For face card prob. = 12C1/52C1
For spade, prob. = 13C1/52C1
Now there are also cards which are both face cards and spades, there are 3 such cards so 3/52 for them
So total prob. = 12/52 + 13/52 – 3/52

A and B are two partners and they have invested Rs. 54,000 and Rs. 90,000 in business. After one year A received Rs 1200 as his share of profit out of total profit of Rs. 4200 including his certain commission on total profit since he is a working partner and rest profit is received by B. What is the commission of A as a percentage of the total profit
Ratio is 54 : 90 = 3 : 5
Let A gets x% commission
So profit after As commission is (1 – x/100)% of 4200
B gets 4200 – 1200 = 3000
So
5/8 * (1 – x/100)% of 4200 = 3000
Solving this we get x in negative which is not possible.
So something wrong in question

Some songs are not tunes.
All tunes are drums.
Some tunes are sticks.
Conclusions:
I.Some drums being songs is a possibility.
II.All those drums which are tunes can be songs.
1 : if only I follows.
2 : if only II follows.
3 : if either I or II follows.
4 : if neither I nor II follows.
5 : if both I and II follow.
Both follows.
See this. Some songs are not tunes.
This makes two possibilities
One is No song is tune
Another is: some songs are tunes
Now try the conclusions.

…….. But to make him the Chief Minister is to risk the fringe taking hold of the centre.
To understand its meaning you have to refer the complete passage.
When the tail wags the dog, the dog risks losing control of it altogether. The national leadership of the BJP may or may not have been guided by the wishes of a vociferous section of its cadre base in nominating Hindutva firebrand Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. But in so doing it has ceded considerable power to a faction within its organisational structure that is both fiercely autonomous and frequently defiant. After politically exploiting his divisive rhetoric, and allowing him to share State-level campaign space with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP would have found it difficult to refuse Mr. Adityanath a prominent role in post-election U.P. But to make him the Chief Minister is to risk the fringe taking hold of the centre.
Here fringe means – members of a political group . Means there are some members of this group who donot want him(Yogi) to become the CM. So by making him the CM, the party can lose the confidence of these members ,(who have a strong control in the working of central govt.

Two boats on opposite banks of a river start moving towards each other. They first pass each other 1400 meters from one bank. They each continue to the opposite bank, immediately turn around and start back to the other bank. When they pass each other a second time, they are 600 meters from the other bank. We assume that each boat travels at a constant speed all along the journey. Find the width of the river?

isme to commission negative aa raha hai..
ratio of A:B = 3:5
profit which B gets = 4200-1200=3000
let commission of A=a
amount that is to be distributed equally= 4200-a
that means B gets
5/8*(4200-a)= 3000
solving we get a=-600

Five statements are given below, labelled (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E). Among these, four statements are in logical order and form a coherent paragraph/passage. From the given options, choose the option that does not fit into the theme of the passage.
(A) To understand why, consider the three big drivers of inflation in the rich world: the price of imports, capacity pressures in the domestic economy and the public’s expectations.
(B) After two years of unusually low price pressures, inflation across the rich world is set to revive this year.
(C) It was telling that Germany, a country with a phobia of rising prices, in the first week of 2017 reported a jump in inflation.
(D) Much of this is because of the oil price, which fell below $30 a barrel in the early months of 2016 but has recently risen above $50.
(E) Its headline rate rose from 0.8% to 1.7% in December.
E

A,B and C can independently do a work in 15 days, 20 days and 30 days, respectively. They work together for sometime after which C leaves. A total of Rs 18000 is paid for the work and B gets Rs 6000 more than C. For how many days did A work? @surajskt:disqus @Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam pls help in this question
Let A and B work for x days and C works for y days
So x/15 + x/20 + y/30 = 1
Out of Rs 18000, B gets Rs 6000 more than C.
So x/20 – y/30 = 6000/18000 = 1/3
Now solve these 2 equations and find x
x/15 + x/20 + y/30 = 1
x/20 – y/30 = 1/3
x is 8

Demonetization India vs Other countries
Before 8 nov 2016 , demonetization was just a word for many as many people were not familiar with it. On that day Indian govt. announced 500rs and 1000 rs illegal. India is not the only country to adopt this method but before this many countires also did the same , some of them got success while other faces strong criticize .
To control hyperinflation and stabilise the economy , Zambabwa govt. decided to replace zimbabwa dollar with American dollar in 2015. This process done in hurriedly which hurts wealth holders and many of whom accumulated their savings turned valueless , which result people demand compensation from the govt. In Myanmar millitary govt resort demonetization of some denomination of ruble 3 times to crub black money and smuggling but demonetization tends to increase inflation which result people strated purchasing goods from China that again gave birth to smuggling and also created disinterest among citizens.
Inspired from India, Venezuela also gave notice that 100 bolivar bill be illegal after 72 hours. This decision was gobsmack as Venezuela was in amidst of economic crisis , which cause anger among people as 100 bolivar bill was 77% in circulation and people didnt get time to exchange it so they started protest and as a result govt decided to postpone its decision till 2 jan 2017
People interest is important in an economy if they will not support any decision it will not get fulfill . As other countries also did demonetization but its was not successful on the other hand with the people’s support it was successful in India , is doesnt means Indians didnt face any problem , they also faced but they were supported so it was successful.

So ab 4 years k bad hi us FD k pese milenge. Phle nhi le sakte.
But agar facility mili hai. To kabi b niklva sakte ho
Banks ki FDs pe hoti hai ye facility.
Post offices k NSC hote hai. Unpe nhi hoti
Phir kuch deducted hta hai Agar pehle nikalna lo
Yes depends on bank to bank.
Like FD agar 7% interest pe hai. To after 4 yrs to 7% hi milega.
But phle withdraw kar rhe ho to kuch deduct hoke milta h
1% deduct hta hai

In 5 minutes 25 L is filled. => in 1 minute 5 litre is filled
Let the inlet pipe fill A litre of water in 1 minute, and outlet pipe remove B litre of water per minute
then, A-B = 5 —(i)
now when the rate of outlet pipe is doubled, then the tank is never filled
means A-2B=0 (zero is the minimum condition)
=>A=2B
put A=2B in eq (i)
2B-B=5
=> B=5 litre
means if the rate of pipe B is 5 L/min or more than it, the tank will never fill.. hence as per option answer is 6 litre/min
i used the same logic yipeeeeee :)) thankuu

NSG and india
NSG is the group of 48 nuclear supplier countries, that came into existence after India’s nuclear test in 1974 at Phokhran. Its laid norms for nuclear material and technology from exporting and importing and also set stringent rules regarding sells of material use in making nuclear weapons. It has two groups first one is NWG (nuclear weapon group) and other one is NNWG (non nuclear weapon group ).
India has being toiling to become it member since 2008. With the help of US, India gets into export and import regims such as Australian group , MTCR etc and its seeking for NSG . As India is vast country and supplying electricity to each and every household at cheaper cost is not an easy task but it the use of nuclear reactors it is possible . Also india’s indigeous nuclear technology is not that much efficient but if India become a member of NSG then it can exchange technique with other countries and utilize it in countries welfare .
But some member countries are strongly opposing its entry because India is non signatory country of NPT and if they grant seat to India then then also have to grant a seat to other non signatory countries ( Pakistan) too which also wants to become its member and applied for it in 2016 and no member country want an entry of Pakistan due to its bad reputation, So India’s dream to become NSG member in the near future does not seems true.

NSG is a(introducing some thing new, so use a) group of 48 nuclear supplier countries, that came into existence after India’s nuclear test in 1974 at Phokhran. It laid norms for nuclear material and technology for exporting and importing and also set stringent rules regarding selling of materials used in making nuclear weapons. Countries on the basis or nuclear weapons they have are divided into (The sentence you wrote was grammatically correct by was not true in reality)two groups first one is NWG (nuclear weapon group) and other one is NNWG (non nuclear weapon group ).
India has being toiling to become its member since 2008. With the help of US, India has got entry into export and import regimes such as Australian group , MTCR etc and its seeking for NSG . As India is a vast country so(Kyunki India vast country hai, isliye sabko cheap elctricity provide krna krna easy nhi hai) supplying electricity to each and every household at cheaper cost is not an easy task but by the use of nuclear reactors it is possible . Also india’s indigenous nuclear technology is not that much efficient. But if India become a member of NSG then it can exchange technique with other countries and utilize it in countries welfare .
But some member countries are strongly opposing its entry because India is a non signatory country of NPT and if they grant seat to India then they have to grant a seat to other non signatory countries ( Pakistan) too which also wants to become its member and has applied for it in 2016 and no member country want an entry of Pakistan due to its bad reputation, So India’s dream to become NSG member in the near future does not seems to be possible.
aaj itni saari galtiya huyi
next time dhyan se likhenege
thanku sir
sir isme kuch or points add karna hai but samaj nhi aa rha ki unko sentance me kese frame kare or usko kese fit kare second phara me jese
india ko NSG ki jarurat isliye bhi hai qki vo ki developing country hai and vo world ki other countries ki sath milke nuclear felid me aage badna chahati hai or apni country ko save karna cahati hai and make in india scheme ke under vo india ko ek new direction dena chahati hai
or sir last phara me kya hum ye add kar sakte hain –
yadi india ko NPT ka member banana hai to usko apni saare nuclear weapons ki dismantle karna hoga ya NSG ko hand over karna hoga lekin defence minster kise oppose me hain qki vo jaante hain ki yadi vo saare weapons ko dismantle kar denge to india defence me kamjor ho jayegi and koi bhi iska fayeda utha sakta hai
ok i will tell soon
India’s Entry in NSG is important for it because being a developing country it needs to learn from other developed country and utlize their knowledge base to become self reliant in nuclear technology in near future. Nuclear technology will help India in saving itself from possible nuclear attacks from neighbouring countries and also will boost Make In India initiative.
ha that point is important and good.. add krna chahye.. u can try to convert it in eng and send
ok sir
tomorrow again i will write on it with considering all points

NSG is a group of 48 nuclear supplier countries, that came into existence after the India’s nuclear test in 1974 at pokharan . It laid norm to supply of nuclear materials and its technology from export and import. It also set stringent rules regarding selling of material used in making nuclear weapons. On the basis of nuclear weapons countries are divided into two groups first one is NWG (nuclear weapon group) and other one is NNWG (non nuclear weapon group) .
India has being toiling to become its member since 2008 but still does not get successful, but with the help of the US ,India has got entry in export import regimes such as Australian group , MTCR group etc and now it is desperately seeking for NSG membership. As India is a vast country so supplying electricity to each and every household at cheaper cost is an uphill task but it can become easier with the help of nuclear reactors . India’s indigenous technology is not that much efficient to make different different types of weapons but if it becomes NSG member then it can exchange technique with developed countries and use it in better way. Also India is a developing country and it needs a lot of interaction with developed countries and also needs to gain knowledge from them so that it becomes a self reliant in nuclear deals and it will work to boost Make In India initiative.
Some countries are in favour of India but some are strongly opposing it. As India is non signatory country of NPT so if they grant seat to India then they also have to grant a seat to other non signatory countries (Pakistan) , which also have applied for NSG’s membership in 2016. NO country is in mood to give an entry to Pakistan because of its bad reputation. NSG said if India wants to become NPT member then either India has to dismantle all its its nuclear weapons or hand over it to international security group, but Defence minister is not in its favour as if they dismantle all its nuclear weapon then India becomes vulnerable and enemy countries can take its advantage and they can create problems for the country. So dream to become NSG member is not seems to be possible in the near future

NSG is a group of 48 nuclear supplier countries, that came into existence after the India’s nuclear test in 1974 at pokharan . It laid norms for supply of nuclear materials and its technology for export and import. It also set stringent rules regarding selling of material used in making nuclear weapons. On the basis of nuclear weapons countries are divided into two groups first one is NWG (nuclear weapon group) and other one is NNWG (non nuclear weapon group) .
India has being toiling to become its member since 2008 but still did not get successful, but with the help of the US ,India has got entry in export import regimes such as Australian group , MTCR group etc and now it is desperately seeking for NSG membership. As India is a vast country so supplying electricity to each and every household at cheaper cost is an uphill task but it can become easier with the help of nuclear reactors . India’s indigenous technology is not that much efficient to make different types of weapons but if it becomes NSG member then it can exchange technique with developed countries and use it in a better way. Also India is a developing country and it needs a lot of interaction with developed countries and also needs to gain knowledge from them so that it becomes a(remove a) self reliant in nuclear deals and it will work to boost Make In India initiative.
Some countries are in favour of Indias entry but some are strongly opposing it. As India is non signatory country of NPT so if they grant seat to India then they also have to grant a seat to other non signatory countries (Pakistan) , which also have applied for NSG’s membership in 2016. NO country is in mood to give an entry to Pakistan because of its bad reputation. NSG said if India wants to become NPT member then either India has to dismantle all of its nuclear weapons or hand over it to international security group, but Defence minister is not in its favour as if they dismantle all its nuclear weapon then India becomes vulnerable and enemy countries can take its advantage and they can create problems for the country. So dream to become NSG member does not seems to be possible in the near future.
Good

Let total distance = d km
so speed of train A = d/4 = s1
so speed of train B = d/3.5 = 2d/7 = s2
Let after 7 AM, t hours k bad they meet
so by that time A has traveled for t hours and B for (t-1) hours [because it started 1 hour late]
so
d = s1*t + s2*(t-1)
Put values of s1 and s2 , d will get cancelled
t = 1 hour 14 mins
so 9:24

T2= 3.5 hrs = 7/2 hrs
V2= 2D/7
let both cross at T hr at 8 am
D1 +D2 =D
D/4*(T+2) +2D/7*T = D

In India both rupee and coin is a legal tender means it use as a mode of exchange all over the country and no one can refuse to accept it in transaction , it is also a flat money sitllwe accept it as a mode of exchange because its value is guaranteed by government of India and reserve bank of India .The promissory clause written on the banknote ” i promise to pay the bearer a sum of ” means obligation on the part of bank to exchange the banknote with the other bank note of lower value or with coins as mentioned in Indian coinage act 2011 of equvilant amount .This was done by RBI to bring confidence among citizens towards Indian currency and to replace goods with goods transaction to goods with money which is simple way to exchange anything with money.
The clause “i promise to pay the bearer a sum of ” written on banknote is signed by governor of RBI but it doesnot mean that any paper signed by governor of RBI is banknote this is restricted in section 22 of Reseve bank of India act 1934

everyone keeps note in their pocket and use it in daily transaction but how many times we have noted what written on it , we dont think about it , we just take it out from our pocket and use it in transaction. Anyone think why we use only banknote for transaction but note other note similar to it. The ans of all the questions are the promissory clause written on the banknote “I promise to pay the bearer a sum of ”
Indian currency both rupee and coin are legal tender….
Paper currency is an important part of everyone’s life.We use in in our day to day transactions. But do we ever notice that on some notes that we receive unnecessary things are scribbled. Neither do we notice nor do we care. We just keep forwarding them in transaction.
Has anyone ever thought that why we use only banknote for transaction but not any other note similar to it? The answer to this question is that due to the the promissory clause written on the banknote “I promise to pay the bearer a sum of “.
But do we ever notice that on some notes that we receive unnecessary things are scribbled.

After selling a watch, Sultan found that he had made a loss of 10% He also found that had he sold it for Rs. 27 more, he would have made a profit of 5% The actual initial loss was what percentage of the profit earned, had he sold the watch for a 5% profit?
(a) 23%
(b) 150%
(c) 180%
(d) 200%
(e) None of these
200?
Yes
By formula
CP = 27×100/[5 – (-10)] = Rs 180
Initial loss was 10%
Means loss = 10% of 180 = Rs 18
Now CP = 180 and new profit % is 5%
So new profit = 5% of 180 = Rs 9
So required % is
18/9 * 100 = 200%
sp/sp+27=90/105
sp=162
loss=18
profit =9
18/9*100=200
2 hours reading is sufficient for English? In eng my vocab part is better than grammar , I find problem in doing spoting error question 😐
Yes 2 hours is sufficient .
If vocab part is good then increase ur reading speed and u can do good in RC. This time its a possibility that vocab will not be from RC, but will be in questions. Like synonym or antonym of —– is?
So that is also a plus point.

There are nine people P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W and X in a family. It is a three generation family. They are sitting in a row facing in North and South directions not necessarily in the same order. The following information is known about them. R who is P’s father sits fourth to the right of Q who is the only daughter of T and they both face in the opposite directions. S sits third to the right of U who is Q’s grandmother and one of them sits adjacent to X. S is unmarried and faces in a direction similar to that of V. T who is the sister of S sits at one of the ends with a female. R’s neighbours are females and face in opposite directions. U’s spouse R faces in the North direction. X who is the wife of V sits at the middle facing in South direction. P, who is male, is the only sibling of V sits exactly between S and Q’s cousin who is a male. The people sitting at ends face in North direction. P faces in the same direction as that of U. R sits adjacent to X.
Family tree is
R and U a couple – R being male
They have 2 sons – P and V
P is married to T and V to X
T is sister of S.
Q is daughter of P and T.
W is child of V and X.
Arrangement:
Step 1: Given that R is facing north. Anf R and Q face opposite directions.
And R is fourth right of Q.
Step 2: X is adjacent to R and sits in middle of row.
Since it sits in middle so X must be immediate right if R.
Step3: T is at one of ends.
This gives 2 arrangements.
Step4: P is in middle of W and S
So from two arrangements one gets contradicted – in which T is at extreme right end of row
Because if T is extreme right. No 3 adjacent seats are available to put P W and S.
Now 1 arrangement left.
So P becomes 2nd from extreme right end.
But position of W and S not known.
Next step: S is third right of U.
This is possible only when S adjacent to R. So W at extreme right.
Only one position left for V.
For directions – use
neighbors of R face opposite.
Extremes face North.
S and V face same.
Thanx mam……from now I will ask my queries in the doubts page….

The wages payment bill 2017
The wages payment act 1935 regulates the payment of wages to a certain class of people. Several amendment has been made time to time and last time it was made in 2005. According to the section 6 of this act wages shall be payed to the workers through current coins , currency notes or in both. Now in 2017 some changes have been made in it as wages should be payed by cheque or by crediting it to employees account.
With the passage of time technology has been changed and large working class people are attracting towards bank. So government decided to make their payment either by cheque or by crediting it to their banks account.
This will reduce the complain of non payment or less payment to employees. Another objective of this is to bring transparency and move towards digital and cashless economy. The government of haryana, AP, Kerala , Uttarakhand and Punjab have already made this provision in their state act and now central government took this provision and made it nation wide.
Any country can not grow with ignoring its citizens problems. As this was one of the problems of them middle class workers and this move will reduce corruption and bring transparency in the system ,so this was welcomed by everyone

5 men or 15 women could do a work in 80 days. how long will it take to finish the work if 15 men and 12 women do the work on alternative day, starting from 15 men.
15 men ->80/3 days
12 women -> 15/12*80=100 days
in 2 days (15 m+ 12w) can do 3/80 +1/100 of the work = 38/800 of the work…
means in 42 days the amount of work completed = 21*38/800 =798/800
remaining work = 1-798/800 -2/800=1/400
now its turn of 15 men to do the work
they will take 1/400 *80/3 =1/15 day
total time = 42(1/15) days
i did as ..
5M= 15W
1M= 3W
yha par me women ko men me convert karke solve karunga
total work =5*80= 400
15 M and 12 womne
or 15 M and 12*1/3 M
15 M and 4 M
(15M and 4m)’s 2 days wrk = 15+4 = 19
(15M and 4m)’s 2*21(42) days wrk =399
now its 15M turn
15M 1 day wrk =15
15M 1/15 day wrk =15*1/15 = 1
total wrk= 399 +1 = 400
total time= 42 +1/15
=631/15 days
ok,, sahi hai,,
5m=15w
m=3w
tw=400m=1200w
15m+12w=19m in 2 days
so 400/19=21
399 m in 42 days
remain 1m=1/15m

Ankit adds 20% water to some quantity of pure milk and sells the mixture at the same rate at which he had bought the pure milk. After selling a few litres of the mixture he is caught and has to pay a fine of Rs. 200. After paying the fine he realises that he has suffered a loss of Rs 100. How many litres of the mixture did he sell if he bought pure milk for Rs 10 per litre?
@surajskt:disqus sir @Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam
Let quantity of milk =x
hence water =0.2 x
total quantity = 1.2x
Now CP of this mixture is x*10 =10x (because cost to sirf milk ka hai)
SP=1.2x *10 =12x (As ankit is selling it at CP,, hence total quantity is 1.2x)
as per question
(12x-10x) -200 =-100 (-100 for loss and -200 for fine….)
=>2x=100
x=50
=>total quanity = 1.2*50=60L

Case 1: N has spec in P, L’s frndshp with C and O ‘s frndship with doctor having spec I
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T
L ……………………… S…………………..C

Put this info in 4 arrangements, case 1 and case 4 gets contradicted
So left with 2 arrangements (remaining male M has spec R)
case 2:
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T
L ……………………… S………………………………………I
M………………………..R
N………………………..P
O………………………..Q…………………..C………………..H
case 3:
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T
L ……………………… S………………………………………I
M…………………………R
N…………………………Q…………………..C……………….H
O………………………..P
now point (vi)
O is not a female who has frndship with one who has spec in F
means a female has frndship with one who has spec in F but that is not O. In case 3 this gets contradicted
Now case 2 left only
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T
L ……………………… S………………………………………I
M………………………..R
N………………………..P………………………………………..F
O………………………..Q…………………..C………………..H
from (iv):
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T………………………………………G
L ……………………… S………………………………………I
M………………………..R………………………………………J
N………………………..P………………………………………..F
O………………………..Q…………………..C………………..H
From (v):
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T………………………………………G
L ……………………… S………………….E…………………..I
M………………………..R………………………………………J
N………………………..P………………………………………..F
O………………………..Q…………………..C………………..H
Next D is not with G or F
K not with A
so final
Female………………..Spec……………Doctor……………Spec
K ……………………… T…………………..B………………….G
L ……………………… S………………….E…………………..I
M………………………..R………………….D…………………..J
N………………………..P……………………A…………………..F

3 years ago, total age of sumit n somi = 52
So now is 52+6 = 58
So 5 years hence = 58+10 = 68
Also 5 years hence Total age of all 3 = 24×3= 72
So age of son 5 years hence = 72-68=4 years
So when son was born
Total age of sumit n soni is 68-10 = 58
So average 29
2nd last step mai kya hua?
Aj se 5 years hence son ki age 4 hogi
This means vo abi jo year chal rha h ysme born hua h
Right??
To 5 years hence ki age me se 10 minus. Or can say ki jo abi vali age h vo leni h
thank u 🙂
Manoj had a calculator which had ten digits and all the basic mathematical operators. He decided to clean the calculator by removing all the keys and while reassembling it, he interchanged the locations of three pairs of keys. For example, if he placed the key ‘1’ in the place of the key ‘5’, he placed the key ‘5’ only in the place of the key ‘1’ and not any other key. All the six keys that were interchanged corresponded only to numbers and not to any mathematical operators. Later, he input some calculations and obtained outputs as provided below. The input is shown in terms of the keys that Manoj pressed, while the output is the output displayed by the calculator.
Output:
i)128+64=195 ii)912+43=942 iii)95+84=128 iv)178+19=192
1.Key for which of the following is not interchanged?
1. 8
2. 6
3. 3
4. 1
5. 4
2.Which of the following pair of digits is unchanged?
1. 3,0,1
2. 3,7,1
3. 9,5,6
4. 9,0,1
5. 9,4,3
3.What will be output for the input “345+765”?
1. 1110
2. 1582
3. 1610
4. 1382
5. None of these
4.What will be output for the input “36+71”?
1. 107
2. 156
3. 147
4. 137
5. 146
A lengthy procedure for this
Sabka check krna pdega
Like ii part me 912 + 43 = 942
So possibility that 9 has been interchanged with 8 or its not interchanged with any number.
Cz answer me 9 tabi aa sakta h
Now see iii part me
Agar 9 n 8 interchange hue hote to 9+8 17 ata but it us 12.
So 9 ko kisi number se interchange nhi kiya
Proceed like this

Statement :
It’s an important matter; the president is not taking any decision with regard to declaring war against Pakistan.
Assumptions :
I.It is better if he decides the matter without any hurry.
II.This is a matter which should not be postponed and war should be declared immediately.
Why ans is either or
Both I. and II. will not follow.. and either is also not true..
If Option I. was like this: The war should not be declared immediately.. then the case of either could have been true.
but here it is said that matter should be decided without hurry,, nothing has been mentioned that after decision when the war will take place …. so we cannot compare I and II so either ka case applicable hi nhi hoga
So neither

population explosion
It is rightly said , the greatest shortcoming of human race is unable to understand the exponential function. Some countries like Canada , Spain where population is decreasing might be prove as boon while some other countries like India, population explosion become curse which is creating hinderance in the development of society and country. With the 16% of the total world population , India stand on 2nd position . Developing countries already facing problems related to lack of resources and needs. With the rapidly escalating in population , resources per person are decreasing, lacking of education , malnutrition etc.
It took history of mankind to population to reach 1 billion in 1810 . Todays world population is 6 billion and India alone has 1 billion ,so India has cause to fret.
To reduce ill effect of population explosion the governoment of India has created Family planning program in 1950 and later changed it to Family Walfare to bring awareness related to family planning , and also give the slogan “One couple, two children “. But i believe the need of call to check on population explosion lies in education. If every educated person take into the stride to teach other person “Each one teach one ” should be followed.Gandhi ji had said that it is easier to self control than controlled by others. Multiplicity of wants create multiply of problems in multiple folds.
Finally i want to conclude by saying that with so many of us on a very small planet, and with the addition of so many more every week, we can no longer persist to relate to each other. Mother nature which could not care less for use will eleminate us from this earth

population explosion
It is rightly said that the greatest shortcoming of human race is unable to understand the exponential function. With the rapidly escalating in population , resources per person are decreasing, also there is lack of education , malnutrition etc.

To reduce ill effect of population explosion the government of India has created Family planning program in 1950 and later changed it to Family Welfare to bring awareness related to family planning , and also gave the slogan “One couple, two children “. Two pipes can fill a tank in 1hr. and 72 min respectively both the pipes are open together but due to some dust
in pipe the efficiency pipes are decreased to 5/6 and 9/10 of their actually efficiency of respectively. After
some time the dust in both pipes get clear together and both pipe run with their full efficiency and then tank
can be filled in 31 min. Find in how much time it take to clear dust.
1. 1 min
2. 2 min
3. 5.3 min
4. 6.5 min
5. Can’t be determined
mam/sir plz explain…….. solve ni ho pa rha
Ques me problem hai kahin
If both pipes are opened together then
1/60 + 1/72 = 11/360
Or 360/11 = 32.7 mins
N given hai ki dust ki vajah se efficiency dec hui.
To 32.7 se jada time lagna chaiye to fill the tank.
But given time to 31 mins h
yes mam yhi mera ans aa rha tha ..thanku mam
If ques hai ki pipes ki dust clear hone k bad 31 mins lagte hai the the q can be solved
1st takes 60 mins. So after reduced efficiency it takes 6/5 * 60 = 72 mins
2nd pipe takes 10/9 * 72 = 80 mins. So
(1/72 + 1/80)*x + (1/60 + 1/72)*31 = 1
Solve x = 2 mins
yes mam …then… likha hai to may be yhi hoga whan sol bhi ese hi diya hai
(6+5)×31+ (5+4.5) ×x=360, x= 2
Ok. Yes question ki language me clear nhi hai ki total 31 mins ya after clearing of dust 31 mins lage h
thanku mam 🙂 main or ques post krungi abhi
Ok
Ten person went for a lunch. Nine of them spent Rs. 65 each over their meal and the tenth person spend 18
more than the average expenditure of all the nine . Total money spent by them was
1.670
2. 570
3. 470
4. 560
5. None of these
is Qn me yha par ye line likhi honi chahiye the average expenditure of all the nine — the average expenditure of all the ten
let avg expenditure of all ten = X
money spend of all ninth = 9*65 = 585
10X = 585 + (X+18)
9X = 603
X= 67
10X = 670
Yes all the ten hona chaiye tha
yes mam
hmmm whi main dekh rhi thi ……yaar ye mahindras wale pagal kar denge
mahendra wale st me to mostly 2-3 maths ke qns wrong hi hote hai .. jab analysis karte hai tab pta chalta hai ki .. qn me data kuch aur diya hai aur soln me kuch aur data lekar solve kiya gya hai
hmm mene to 4-5 ques wrong dekhe aj :||
gud 😛
9 each ne 65 kiye spent so average to inka 65 hi ho gya
So 10th ne 18+65 = 83
So total
9×65 + 83
yes mam same issue tha

1. 11/15
2. 12/16

statement-no pencil is ink
con-some pencils not being ink is a possibility
ye follow karega ya nhi?
agar follow nhi karega to kyu nhi karega?
Rule ye hai ki agar koi conclusion definetly true hai,, usme possibilty add kar do to wo false ho jayega…
No pencil is ink means surely that SOme pencil are not ink.. this is definetely true.. SO iski possibilty false hogi…
so the con is false..
you can learn all these rules with us.. From tomorrow we are starting a one week class on syllogism by rules….

Let total solution = 100l
So petrol = 20l, diesel = 50, kerosene = 30
Now 25% replaced means 25 l replaced
Divide 25 in the ratio of 2 : 5 : 3
So
remaining quantities sre
p = 15 , d = 37.5 and k = 22.5
Now 25 l kerosene is added also, so k = 22.5 + 25 = 47.5 l
new ratio – 15 : 37.5 : 47.5
Now 2/3 of 100 l is replaced means 200/3 l
again divide 200/3 in ratio 15 : 37.5 : 47.5
So remaining quantities:
p = 5 , d = 12.5 and k = 47.5
now 200/3 l of petrol added
so p becomes = 5 + 200/3 = 215/3
So new ratio 215/3 : 12.5 : 47.5
quantity of diesel is 12,5
so 12.5% as total 100 l solution hai
The whole method is this which is described below
but no need to do all this
Because the total quantity is not changed. it was 100 at beginning and 100 at last
We have to find % of diesel
so just keep on subtracting the replaced quantities from the quantity of diesel.
diesel is 50 l
so 25% of 100 = 25, so 5/10 * 25 = 25/2 l of diesel replaced
so remaining diesel = 37.5
next 200/3 mixture replaced
remaining diesel is 12.5
so 12.5%
thank u so much ma’am got u point 🙂
ma’am 200/3 ko again divide karne k liye p and k ka ratio to nikalna padega na..
No
Tab b final 100 hi rhega na
So just 37.5/100 × 200/3 nikalna h diesel ka which is 25
So 37.5 – 25
ohk ohk got it . ty

what is the approach of this puzzle
Start from point 3. Then 4.
4 k bad there are 2 possibilities as G is immediate of I.
Next fix point 1 keeping in mind that A us male and couples sath me bethe hai.
Now inme se ek possibility me I and G will be a couple. Which is not possible cz I and G are facing same direction. But members of a couple should face opposite direction.
So this 1 possibility cancels out.
In the left arrangement also possibility cases will be there.
Cases bna k solve further.
Try agar ho jata h..else i ll give complete solution.
Read in puzzle that about which person more is given. Start with that.
Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below it:

A+B can complete a work in half the time of ‘C’ while B+C can complete the same work in 1/3 time than A. if they together can complete the work in 20days .in how many days can do it alone?
A and B half time of C.
Let C in 2x days so A and B in x days.
So 1/x + 1/2x = 1/20
X =30
So C in 60 days.
Now B and C in 1/3rd time of A.
Let A in 3y days so B and C in y days.
So 1/y + 1/3y = 1/20
Solve
So A can do in 80 days.
Now find for B.
1/80 + 1/B = 1/30
tq mam:))
a+b——-c
2———-1
c = 20*3/1= 60
b+c———–a
3———–1
a = 20*4/1= 80
b = 30
yes tq:)
Yes correct. Gives.

Do people still need reservation
Since the age it is the topic of wide debate whether people still need reservation or not. If they need then to whom it should be given. Do backward class people still need reservation? what should be the criteria if at all it be given ? what if there will no reservation ? will there be equality ? Do they actually get benefit of reservation ?
As we all know there are laws for everything in our country but they bent according to some higher class people. If we see small children working in any place then question comes in our mind ,do they get benefit of reservation ? And when we see some higher class people then the question comes whether they actually need reservation. When we talk about reservation, two point comes in our mind, Who are backward class people ? and What is reservation ?
Backward class people are those who do not get equal place in our society , either because they have financial problems or they belongs to some backward caste, and reservation is to give the same opportunity to them as upper class people get in education and in job. Reservation is kind of tool which help the people to get equal opportunity in the society.In our country politicians has change the meaning of it , for them it is a tool of collecting more and more votes.Still there are many people in our country who are fighting of their survival , for getting food. If we want equality then we should take all of them with us. What if a person born in a poor upper class family , doesn’t he deserve all opportunity that other people gets.
The problem is at a grass root level. Government should work on it so that only deserving people get benefit of it , govt should work on it keeping national interest in mind rather than political one. Reservation should be based on the financial basis not on the basis of caste or religious.

sir problem ko solve karne ke liye isme or kya add kar sakte hain
good job
Reservation has been a burning topic for over a decade or two. It has been an inbuilt part of our constituion. But with time, much has changed and a lot is yet to be changed. We were given a poor, fragramented country and we developed it into the world’s Biggest democracy ever. Now we are World’s third largest Economy. Amidst all these figures, Do we still need reservation? This questions haunts many young minds including I.
As the constitution defines, Reservation are a series of affirmative actions undertaken through reserving access to seats in the different legislatures, government jobs, and to enrollment in higher educational institutions for castes and tribes recognized in the list of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as recognized by Government of India, to promote equality. Ever since the constitution is laid, the government is busy equalizing these SCs & STs. And the Mandal Commission Recommendation had done much more for the promotion. But this is high time now!
Government need to take stringent measure to decide who ought to be reserved & who not. Is it the Tribal Cast who needs reservation? Or the Economically backward classes? Or the Social Backward? Or any Other Elite classes which want/need reservation? Doesn’t Equality defines that an SC, ST and an UR student should be treated equally? Let’s talk about the 2016 UPSC topper Tina Dabi. She is the daughter of Engineer parents and she cannot be equalized with an economically backward Candidate. And there are many more like Tina Dabi, who never cease to give up reservation.
I am not against reservation. As it is necessary for the upliftment of those backward people who are ignored by, not only the society but also the polity. I just want the political elites to re-consider as Who should be given the Previlige of being RESERVED. I rest my Case!!

LIKE IN THIS CASE TOO QUESTION IS SILENT ABOUT PATERNAL GRANDFATHER OR MATERNAL GRANDFATHER BUT WE HAVE TAKEN IT AS MATERNAL
IN EXAM TOO I THINK WILL CONSUME A BIT OF TIME BCOZ AS PER FIRST AND PREF WE WILL ALWAYS GO OR THINK FOR PATERNAL AND WILL NOT GET ANS
Agricultural scientists, for reasons that remain unexplained, began to doubt, the ability of farmers to maintain seed quality themselves

some bodybuilders are boxers.all wrestlers are boxers.some gymnasts are boxers.
con-all body builders cant be gymnast.no wrestlers is a gymnast.
@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus @surajskt:disqus ye follow karega kya? cant be possibility hota hai ya nhi?
my doubt is that dig draw karne k baad pata chal raha hai ki bodybuilders gymnast nhi hai . and ye definitely true hai. so if “can’t be “is a possibility the ye follow karega kya? agar possibilty nhi hai to follow karega itna to pata hai
Cant be possible ka meaning hua ki kuch ho sakte hai
I mean some A are B is a possibility.
All nhi ho sakte. Some ho sakte hai

another solution plzz ??
See third questions here

Same concept
solutiion plzz ??
Let total distance be d km, speed = u, and time = t hours
So case 1:
60 km with speed u, (d-60) with speed 5/6 of u
If he would have traveled (d-60) by speed u, then time = (d-60)/u
But now time is = (d-60)/(5u/6) = 6(d-60)/5u
And difference in timings is 1 hr 12 minutes = 1 1/5 hour = 6/5 hours
So 6(d-60)/5u – (d-60)/u = 6/5
Solve (d-60)/u = 6
case 2:
120 km with speed u, (d-120) with speed 5/6 of u
If he would have travelled (d-120) by speed u, then time = (d-120)/u
But now time is = (d-120)/(5u/6) = 6(d-48)/5u
And difference in timings is 1 hour
So 6(d-120)/5u – (d-120)/u = 1
Solve (d-120)/5u = 1
Divide both equations, d = 420 km , so u = 60 km/hr
ty so much ma’m @Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus
how to calculate total distance in the above mentioned case..help me maa’m
See i gave solution above
in that only speed is calculated but in case if we have to obtain the whole distance then how to calculate mam
we cannot calculate distance in your asked question. because no information about time and speed given
ma’m were hav you gone plz tell me how to calculate whole distance
see questions 3 here : http://aspirantszone.com/time-and-distance-questions-for-bank-po/
distance is calculated
Divide both equations, d = 420 km , so u = 60 km/hr..
how to calculate total distance in this case can yu help me maa’m
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6086370b1bca4e37de5937380060d1d0c062630d5f1bec5ad4f1dee5e4e06340.jpg
8 : 6 : 3
one minor doubt related to this is bhanu =3d/4 and chintu = d/4 assumed? or used the above condition ma’m?/
We have assumed total distance d. N then divided the track in 4 parts.
After that 3d/4 and d/4 is according to given condition only
U dint get ?
yes ma’m the condition of bhanu and chintu i didnt get
See the difference in distances.
Aman and Bhanu ka d – 3d/4 = d/4.
Bhanu and Chintu ka 3d/4 – d/4 = d/2
So as per question. Bhanu n Chintu ka is twice that of Aman and Bhanu.
Now got?
U can leave these questions in exams.
Word problems vse b last me karni chaiye. So choose only easy topics likes ages, average, partnership and others as u like
got it maa’m thank yu so mchhhhh….
@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam.. plzz help me. i need moral support.. i ve been preparing for 2years. could nt make it final list. missed by 0.25 in all 4 ibps final lists.. its my fate. i got only border marks in english. eng k liye kuch bathao mam.. . i m just giving 6hrs for study bcoz i ve a 4yrs baby.. but i can manage..
dont wanna miss this time.. wt should i do ? any suggestions..
Hie.
Its so good to hear that with married life and baby u r able to manage this soo much.
So u urself know that u have that ability. Yes failure by 0.25 marks gives depressing feeling. But its good that u want to start again.
As per your comment ur main concern is English language.
Start giving some time to reading in English. And that too newspaper. Anything u like to read in newspaper . By this u ll get to know about the formation of sentences, etc.
And then practice english quizzes from wherever u can n like to. We also have many quizzes
N u can ask ur doubts here.
All the best. U ll make it. Start giving some time to reading in English

two trains are travelling on parallel tracks in the same direction.The length of the 2 trains is an integral multiple of the number of the bogies.If the difference of their speeds is increased by20%;and the total number of the bogies of both the trains is decreased by 10% find the percentage change in the time of crossing of slower train by the faster train.
ma’m solve it plz
replyy
reply maa’m …ans
positive h tho ‘+’ and negative h thn ‘-‘. e.g. in this q. +20 and -10
20-10-20*10/100
Yee successive sahi hai. But galat apply kar diya.
See my explanation above.
okk okk.. get it mam
but ans is coming 25%
See i replied above
25% hi h
maaa’m iska ans milega aapse..??
Gd mng. U just post doubts. Whenever we get time. We reply.
See here.
Distance = speed × time.
When a quantity is a multiple of two other quantities successive method can be used.
Yahn distance is length of trains.
Speed is the relative speed of trains. N because trains same direction me ja rhi h to relative speed difference of speeds se aaegi.
So successive method says.
Increase/ dec in distance = x + y + xy/100
Yahn decrease in length of trains is 10% so -10.
Difference in speeds increased by 20% so +20
So
-10 = 20 + y + 20y/100
Solve and get y
Y is – 25%
So % change in time is -25% or decrease of 25%
TNK YU SO MUCH MA’M…
MA’M HUMNE DIFF.IN TYM KO LEFT SIDE KYU NHI LIA MA’M
Method yhi hota hai.
Ki a = b×c jahn apply ho rha hai vahn ye method lgega
To change in a = x + y + xy/100
To yahn change in a and b diya hua hai. N change in c nikalna hai.
Distance = speed×time na
Time is not distance × speed
yaaa ma’m undestood….
successive rule is implemented bcz no define data of speed and bogies r given
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a87047d15acf717753c8cb9a12cd8e8f70ee59efeb7acdad1c75502358d07d32.jpg

6 AM pe 2 trains leave krengi,,one from Station A(Train 1) another from station B (Train 2)
ek train ko 42 hour lagte hai,,
so next 6 AM jab hoga, (means 24 hour) then Train 1 and Train 2 kahi raste me hongi as they take 42 hours to complete the whple journey…
means 2 aur train chahye (Train 3 and 4),, next day k 6 AM k liye
fir agle 18 hours me (24+18=42 hours) ye pehle wali dono train pahuch jayengi destination and then they can again start for their next journey at 6 AM..
So in total 4 trains
JO 2 TRAIN CHAL RHI H USKO MILAK 4 NA??
yes correct,,usse mila k 4 trains

done , see :))
he ratio between income of P and Q is 15:17 .when P gives rs 2000 to Q then ratio becomes 7 :8 .find the total income of P and Q.
SOLVE THIS MA’M
P:Q=15x:17x
(15x-2000)/(17x+2000)=7/8
solve and get x=30000
P=15*30000
Q=17*30000
but final ratio is not satisfying
ie
(45000 -2000)/(51000+ 2000) not equal to 7/8
ek ek zero kam liya hai..
450000 hoga and 510000
450000-2000=448000 and 510000+2000=512000
448/512=7/8
sir … niche wale ques. ka koi short method ??
which ques?
see downward …. i have been posted 2 days bfore ..
A train …………………
ok ok ,, will try to find some shortcut, and tell
SPECIALLY FOR CALCULATING DISTANCE…..SPEED CALCULATION I UNDESTOOD BUT FOR DISTANCE IS THERE IS ANY WAY TO CALCULATE WITHOUT TAKING X JUST LIKE SPEED HAS CALCULATED IN THAT QUESTION BELOW POSTED BY KEEP SMILE
ye check kr k i will tell,,
YA SURE….
2x^2 -(4 + sqrt(13))x + 2*sqrt(13)=0
10y^2 – (18 + 5*sqrt(13))y + 9*sqrt(13)=0
USE FACTORIZATION METHOD
but it gets lil complicated ..while finding the roots
I USE FACTORISATION METHOD BECOZ IN EITHER CASE SAME TIME IS UTILISED EITHER BY DIVIDING THE COEFFIENT OF X WITH EQUATION OR BY FACTORIZATION
ok ….ty :))
/
hi …. su che ??
…..
aacchi baat h ..
ji 🙂 su che mtlb
MEANS AAP KAUN?
ji sir
ur way ??
take first eqn as example
i will use the following term Ax^2 + Bx +C=0
here A= 2 , B=(4+sqrt13) . C= 2sqrt 13
root wo honge jinka multiplication A*C k barabar ho and SUM =B k barabar ho
aise ques me jinme root involved ho, they are very easy to solve by this way…
See A*C= 2*2sqrtroot13= 4sqrt13
and B= (4+sqrt13)
now aisa number jinka multiplication A*C k equal ho and SUm B k equal ho, that is 4 and root 13
as 4*root 13 = A*C
and 4+root 13=B
so now actual roots are 4/A =4/2 =2
and root13/A=(root 13)/2
ans wud be ….. x>=y ??
NO
x=2, root(13)/2
y= 1.8 , root(13)/2
SO NO RELATION

See that there are only two symbols # and @
#- those word which have even number of alphabet
@ – those words which have odd number of alphabet
Format of code-
First Term – Reverse of last alphabet of the word
example in declared, last alphabet = d reverse is W
Second Term – First alphabet in the word + 2 i.e in declared first alphabet is d then d+2= F
Third Term =# explained
Fourth term= sum of alphabet on first place and last place=d+d=4+4=8
So for
Success
First term – opposite of S=H
second term- S+2=U
third term= @
fourth term= S+S=19+19=38
H U @ 38

how to solve this type of syllog?
isme har sentencce ko aise maan k chalo ki agar wo sentence ya uski possibility bhi true hai,, then wo answer nhi hoga,, jo ekdum 100% definetly false hai wahi answer hoga.. in this case option 3 All weeks being moon is a possibility. is definetely false
as using Some weeks are sun. + No sun is moon. we get SOME WEEK are Not Moon
so 3 nhi follow kr sakta.
thank u sir….jiska koi possibility nahi hoga aur 100% false hoga wohi hoga ans..

same for B = 6X/3X = 2
C= 6X/6X = 1
A+B = 6X/(A+B)’s wrk = 6X/(6+2) = 6X/8
A+B+C = 6X/(A+B+C)’s wrk = 6X/(6+2+1) = 6X/9

MA’M SIR SOLVE THIS SYLLOGISM WHAT SHOULD BE THE ANS??
70TH ONE
CCC AND
means??
MEANS C OPTION
but 1 follows… means some man are not girl follows
then how 1 and 2 definately not follows??
YES THE PART OF MAM WHIC IS BOY CAN NEVER BE GIRL BECAUSE NO BOY IS GIRLS
definately means it should not follow naaa but option 1 follows??
sorry some women is not honest is also wrong ‘
bcoz it will follow in possibility so only 3 definetly dnt follow
Only III doesnot follows definitely…
sir explain..how can i mean definately here??
definitely means ki wo 100% false hona chahye.. agar aisa koi statement hai jiski possibilty bhi true ho,, to usko nhi keh sakte ki wo definetely false hoga… 100% false hona chahye
As in the above example.. Conclusion II. bhi false hai, lekin uski possibility true hai.. isliye II. ko we cannot say ki it is definetely false
but for III. we will get ki SOME HONEST ARE NOT BOY.. iska matlab ki jab kuch honest boy nhi hai,, to ALL HONEST BOY ho hi nhi sakte,, so III. false hai
thanks sirrrr….means for definately not follow v have to rule out both definate and possiblity case..??
yes….

A, B and C work at different speeds. When the slowest two work together, they take x days to finish the job. When the quickest two of the three work together they take y days to finish the job. One of them when working alone, takes three times the time taken when all three of them worked together. Find the time taken to finish the job when all three work together.
Mam can u give option s

A
5 : 3 : 1
B
4 : 2 : 1
C
7 : 5 : 2
D
7 : 6 : 1
E
5 :4 : 2
nope a……..its E
Ji :p
Nhi aya
OKKK
let A faster, then B and then C
So
1/A + 1/B = 1/y …….(1)
1/B + 1/C = 1/x ………(2)
Now it says – One of them when working alone, takes three times the time taken when all three of them worked together
So A cant take 3 times than all together cz he is faster, similarly C cant also takes 3 times more,he ll take more
so Its B who takes 3 times – of them worked together
Let A, B, C takes p days
then B takes 3p days, so 1/B = 1/3p …….(3)
Now (1) + (2) – (3)
gives
I/A + 1/B + 1/C = 1/x + 1/y – 1/3p which should be equal to 1/p
so
1/x + 1/y – 1/3p = 1/p
Solve, p = 4xy/3(x+y)
omggg…itna puzzling

66/x-0.5-66/x===1
now we can put value of x from option and be catioun on one thing
what quetion is demanding
here orignal rate i 6 and after reduction is 5.5
YAA….I GOT IT BUT I WANT TO KNOW THAT IF I DO THE ABOVE MENTIONED PROCEDURE IS IT RYT ???
100% u can also do by using x and fit x from the option and check weather it give desired result ( i.e in this case 1 as diferrence )

A sum of money is lent for 2 years at 20% p.a. compound interest. It yields Rs 482 more when compounded semi-annually than compounded annually. What is the sum lent? please tell the short trick to solve it @disqus_daerSNtYRJ:disqus @goldeneagle143:disqus
for 2 yrs
R= 20+20+20*20/100 = 44
CI1 = P*R% = 44%*P
for semi-annually
R=20/2 =10% and time= 2*2 = 4yrs
R for 2 yrs = 10+10+10*10/100 = 21
R for 3 yrs = 21+10+21*10/100 = 33.1
R for 4 yrs =33.1 +10 +33.1*10/100 = 46.41
CI2 =46.41%*P
given CI2 -CI1 = 482

**after 15 days 5 more men joined and completed the work in 1day less
means in 8 days
25W +5M = 35W
wrk done by 35W in last 8 dys = 35W*8 = 280W
wrk done without extra men = 280W/25W =11.2 days

54 //872 …. cube root find karne ke liye last se 3 number ko break karte hai
and square root ke liye last se 2 numbr ko break karte hai
cube root = 54 //872
ab ye dekho ki last digit yani 2 …. (0 to 9 ) kiske cube ki last digit hai
ye 8^3 = 512 ki cube ka last digit hai
yani 872 — 8
ab rest 54 ke liye ham ye dekhte hai ki 54 kiske cube ke paas ye number ayega ya jiska cube hai …
3^3 = 27
and 4^3 = 64
3^3 < 54 < 4^3
54 — 3

So
x + (x – 684) = 70y/100 – 180
Also given, x = 42% of y

10 ———7
1/10X +1/7X = 2/45
X= 153/28
B= 10*153/28 = 765/14
then A= 1/15 – 14/765 = 37/765

SOLVE THIS…@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus MAM@surajskt:disqus SIR@disqus_daerSNtYRJ:disqus
isme 37/13 is 2 + 11/13
Next
Do the reciprocal of 11/13
1/(13/11) = 1/ ( 1 + 2/11)
So x = 1.
Next
1/(11/2) = 1/ ( 5 + 1/2)
Y = 5. Z = 2
isme tum LHS ko RHS ki tarah form karo .. then both side compare karke x,y,z ki value find kar lo
37/13 = 2 + 11/13
= 2 + 1/(1 +2/11)
= 2 +1/(1 +1/(5+1/2))
now compare on both side
X= 1
Y= 5
Z=2
sum = 1+5+2 =8
A and B together can do a work in 6 days. B and C together can do the same work in 60/7 days. A started working alone and worked for 3days nly. after that B and c together completed that in further 6days. find the diff b/w time taken by A and B alone????@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus @surajskt:disqus @disqus_daerSNtYRJ:disqus
3A + 6(B+C) = 1
3A = 6*7/60 = 1

B = 5
A- B= 10-5 = 5 days
A, B and C can independently do a work in 15 days, 20 days and 30 days, respectively. They work together for sometime after which C leaves. A total of $ 18000 is paid for the work and B gets $ 6000 more than C. For how many days did A work?@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus @surajskt:disqus @disqus_daerSNtYRJ:disqus
A & B —- > X day… C= Y day
X/15 +X/20 +Y/30 = 1 ——–1
X/20 = 6000/18000 + Y/30
X/20 – Y/30 = 1/3 ——-2
solve 1 & 2
5X/30 = 4/3
X= A = B = 8 days
bro explain the second line
X/15 +X/20 +Y/30 = 1 this one ?
no next one after that……
B gets rs 6000 more than C
(B -C) 1 day wrk share = 6000/18000 = 1/3
X/20 = Y/30 = 1/3

@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus MAM@disqus_daerSNtYRJ:disqus
CP = 100*100/(10 – (-10)) = rs 500
In above formula, 100 for (had he been sold for 100 more). Next 100 for %
10 for 10% profit at had he been sold for rs100 more. -10 for loss%
Now CP = 500
So earlier loss is 10% of 500 = 50 rs
Now profit is 10% of 500 = 50 rs
So required % = 50/50 *100
let Cp=100X
1st condn
SP = 90X
2nd cond
SP = 90X +100
SP= 110/100*100X
90X +100 = 110X
X= 5
CP= 500X
loss = 10%*500 = 50
profit = 10%*500 = 50
required% = 50/50*100 = 100%

any logic any idea…becoz i hav no idea about this question ……….:))
nope
Har 8 rs increase se, 1 book unsold reh jati hai.
Ab options se karna pdega.
A) 12
1 book unsold to 8 rs increase, 12 books unsold to 12*8 = 96 rs
So now price of each book = 148+96 = 244
And 40-12 =28 books are sold so he gets 28*244
Now B) 11
11*8 = 88
Price of each book = 148+88 = 236
So he gets 236*29
Aise hi find for all options. The one with max value is the answer
mam means unsold book ki value humko actual value k sth add krni padegi???

There are two vessels A and B containing 25 litres each of pure milk
and pure water respectively. 5 litres of milk from A is taken and poured
into B, then 6 litres of mixture from B is taken and poured in A. What
is the ratio of water in A and B respectively:
a)4:5
b)1:4
c)5:4
d)2:3
First:
A me 20 l milk
B me 25 l water and 5 l milk so 5 : 1 and Total 30l
Second:
6 l from B
So water left is 25 – 5/6 * 6 = 20 l
So takem out is 5 l
Which is added to A
So now in A water is 5 l and in B 20 l left
So ratio 1 : 4
Thanku mam 🙂
There are seven people A, B, C, D, E, F, G living in a building which has seven floors from (1-7). Out of the seven people living six of them belong to a family and in the family there are two couples. Each couple lives together and has a separate floor and rest of them have separate floors so two floors are empty.
The following information is known about them. G is the son-in-law of D. Neither top floor nor first floor is empty. D lives on a floor immediately below that of E. There are two floors between the floors on which the two couples live. C is E’s nephew and lives two floors above the floor on which B lives. A’s sister lives on the 3rd floor
@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam
Clear to kuch nhi hai isme.
G D ka son in law hai.
A ki sister hai means G ki wife A ki sister hai and A is son of D.
C is E’s nephew. So either E is wife of A or is sister of A.
E agar A ki wife hai to C is son of G. And if E is sister of A then C is son of A.
Yhi clear nhi hai.
So ya to kuch cases bnane pdenge
Let karke ki – ek bar E ko wife, ek bar E ko sister.
And then ye b dekhna pdega ki B and F me se kon family member hai
got it mam

The Centre said it was exploring options to initiate a dialogue in
Kashmir, including with the separatists, but no one had came forward in
the past and it had hit a dead end.
had come or had came, explain shubra mam/ suraj sir
Acha sentence hai.
Here past participle is used.
Past perfect tab use hota hai jab koi event complete ho chuka ho before any other event
But see yahn aisa nhi h.
No one had came forward after initiating dialogue.
Yahn par jo action h (no one had came forward) vo dialogue initiate karne k bad complete hua hai not phle.
So past participle use hua hai. Isme ed form lag jati h verb ki.
So come ka came.
Or sentences b aise aate hai par almost verbs ka 2nd and 3rd form same hota h to pta nhi chlta
got it mam, thanku 🙂
Myra
Past participle of come is come only
I was mistaken before
Dont know how had came is correct here. It can be a mistake

Let 2m can complete work in a days
then 3w in (a+2) days
2 m in a days, so 3 m in 2a/3 days
3w in (a+2) days, so 5w in 3(a+2)/5 days
So
3/2a + 5/3(a+2) = 1/6
Solve, a = 18
So 2m in 18 days, 1 man in 36 days
3w in 18+2 = 20 days, so 1 woman in 60 days
so ratio 36 : 60 = 3 : 5
mam a ki value 18 nhi aa rhi h…::))) mam solve kijiye…:))
Its coming to
equation ye bank rahi hai na
a^2 – 17a – 18 = 0
(a-18) (a+1) = 0
so a = 18
but mam 2m =a days => 3men =3a/2 days or 2/3a????
2a/3 days
but hum reverse karte hai na for 1 day’s work
Like A worked for 6 days., so his 1 day work = 1/6
so yahn reverse 2a/3 ka reverse liya to find 1 day’s work
fir wapis 3/2a????
vapis ku ??
3/2a to kahin ni liya
3/2a + 5/3(a+2) = 1/6
ohh yes yes, its used
i read something else
see
2 m in a days, so 3 m in 2a/3 days. u got this na ??
to 3 m 2a/3 days me work complete karte hai
so 1 day work = 3/2a hua na ?
mam….2m =a days
3 m=(3/2)*a days
3 m 1 day work =2/3a days
then not getting????
M1 * d1 = M2 * d2
2 * a = 3 * d2
so 3 men in (2/3)*a days not
3 m=(3/2)*a days
two diffrent techniques mam……:)))))
okk mam by this it is coming but what about the previous one becoz both shuld come same naa mam….:)))
same hai
above i wrote – 2 m in a days, so 3 m in 2a/3 days
here – so 3 men in (2/3)*a days

A and B are pipes such that A can empty the tank in 30 minutes and B can fill in 20 minutes. The tank is full of water and pipe A is opened. If after 6 minutes, pipe B is also opened, then in how much total time the tank will be full again?
See 9th que here.
Same type
http://aspirantszone.com/quantitative-aptitude-questions-sbi-po-niacl-nicl-set-16/
total capacity……….60
A………………………..(-2)
B…………………………3
A ‘s 6 min work ………….(-12)
now B is also opened…..net work = 3+ (-2 ) = 1
so to fill again 12 units emptied by A ..both will take 12 min
total time of process …6+12 = 18 min
Rahul starts walking to his north from point A, after walking 4km he reaches to point G and takes a left turn after walking 8 km he reaches at point H then he takes a final right turn and walks for 12km and reaches to point B. Ajay is also standing at point A he walks 3km to his east and reaches point C then he takes a right turn and walks for 4km then he takes final left turn and walks for 4km and reaches a point D. Gaurav is standing at point K and facing north, he starts walking to his west, after walking 8km he reaches point L, then he takes a left turn and walks for 6km and reaches to point E from there he takes a right turn and walks for 4km and reaches to point F. From point F, Gaurav takes a left turn, walks for 16km and reach to point C.
If all of them wants to reach at point F and started walking from their initial position at the same time how much total distance they have to cover?

ok bro
time mile to solve karna. question ekdum sahi hai.
A group of seven friends Chandru, Chahal, Charan, Chamu, Chandran, Charu and Chadrasekar has four males and three females. Each of them has wear different coloured T-shirts, viz Yellow, Orange, Red, White, Green, Blue and Grey, and each of them belongs to different states –Maharashtra , Odisha, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur and Karnataka but not necessarily in the same order. None of the females wear Blue or Yellow. Charan wear Red and she belongs to neither Uttar Pradesh nor Manipur. Chandru is from Manipur and wear neither yellow nor blue. Chahal does not wear White. Chandran has Grey and from either Odisha or Maharashtra . Charu has Yellow or Green and not belong to Maharashtra. Chadrasekar has either Blue or Yellow T-shirt and from Tamilnadu. The one who wears White belongs to Karnataka. The one who wears Orange either from Manipur or Maharashtra . None of the female either from Manipur or Odisha.

hanji mam distance ka hi ni samjh aa rha diagram to ban gya
aisa kuch specified nhi hai,, lekin jis hisab se option hai, us hisab se diagonal lene se to ans nhi ayega.. so straigh lines wale h lene honge
So rahul and ajay k liye 3 + 16=19*2=38

ON TIME TO EXACT TIME HOTA HAI NA?
ON TIME
On time means that there is a specific time established when something is supposed/expected to happen, and it is happening at the planned time.
My job interview is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
If I arrive at 4:00 PM, I am on time for the interview.
The flight is scheduled to leave at 10:30 AM.
If it leaves at 10:30 AM, the flight is leaving on time.
The class is supposed to start at 9:00.
If it does start at 9:00 with no delays, it is starting on time.
If you say “He’s always on time” it means he is punctual; he always arrives at the correct time, he is not late.
If you say “He’s never on time” it means he is always late.
IN TIME
In time means that something happened at the last moment before it was too late; before something bad would happen.
The accident victim was seriously injured; they got him to the hospital just in time.
(If they hadn’t arrived at the hospital, he might have died)
I missed the opportunity to go to that college because I didn’t submit my application in time.
I left home early and arrived in plenty of time to catch my flight.
I got stuck in traffic and arrived just in time to catch my flight.
on time matlb time se pehle jo time specified hai to yhan on time hi ayega…….. in time matlb late ho hi jata agar na submit karta to …we use it in marginal sense

an amt of 12820 due 3yrs hence , is fully repaid in 3 annul instalmnts starting aftr 1yr. the first instalmnt is 1/2 of the 2nd instalmnt and 2nd instalmnt is 2/3 of the 3rd instalmnt . if the rate of interest is 10%p.a. compounded annually. find 1st installmnt???? ans 2000
@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam kya iska ans 2000 h mera 2662 aa rha h…:)) aap try kijiye…:))
3rd installment = x, 2nd = 2x/3, 1st = x/3
I use installemnt formula:
10% is 1 + 10% = 11/10
So for 3 years
10/11 * x/3 + 100/121 * 2x/3 + 1000/1331 * x = 12820
X = 2000
i too used same formula let me check were i was wrong…thank yuu so mch mam..:))
mam i solved that equn iam getting
6410/(11*363)x =12820
x=7986=>first install =x/3 =2662..????

Then 2662 only

given 15 km/l means distance of 15 km in 1ltr
now for 2 ltr fuel =30kms
now let he has x liters fuel after travelling 30kms
=> speed =30/x
now 5 lter fuel has wasted so remaining =x-5
and he has to travel 20 kms
=> speed =20/(x-5)
since he travels with uniform spd so both speeds shuld b equal
=> 30/x =20/(x-5)
from here x=15l
=> 15 liters of fuel was present
5liters wasted
=> left =10l
now with10l fuel he has to travel 20kms dist.
now 1l fuel he has a spd of 15km /l
=>for 10 liter fuel spd shuld be 150km/l
so he has to travel 150km/l…minimum spd with remaining 10 l fuel
thank yuu…so mch mam…:)
mam…:) plz also check my way of approach ….is it ryt…..mam…:))
There are 6 consecutive odd numbers. The difference between the square of average of the first three numbers and the square of average of the last three numbers is 240. What is the last odd number ?
ODD NO.
(2A+1),(2A+3),(2A+5),(2A+7),(2A+9),(2A+11)
AVG OF FIRST THREE=2A+3
AVG OF LAST THREE=2A+9
NOW A/C
(2A+9)^2-(2A+3)^2=240
USE A^2-B^2 =(A+B)(A-B)
(4A+12)*6=240
4A+12=40
=>A =7
=>LON =2A+11 =2*7+11 =25
Dhara invested Rs. P for 2 years in scheme A which offered 10% p.a. compound interest (compounded annually). She lent the interest earned from scheme A to Sumi, at the rate of 16 % pa simple interest. If at the end of 5 years, Sumi gave Rs. 3024 to Dhara and thereby repaid the whole amount (actual loan +
interest), what is the value of P ?
BY PERCENTAGE METHOD
let 100 rupees dhara invested
now ci of rs 100 on two years = 21
now this interest is taken and lent to sumi as si
so si on rupees 21 for 5 years at 16% at 5yrs
si =21*16*5/100 =16.8
now amt =21+16.8 = 37.8
now this value is to b get from sumi after 5 years
now
=>37.8 =3024
=>100 =P=8000

In how many ways 6 boys and 4 girls be arranged in a row so that no two girls are together?
_B1_B2_B3_B4_B5_B6_
NOW BOYS ARRANGEMENT =6!=720
GIRLS ARRANGEMENT =7C4 =35
REQ ARRANGEMENT =720 * 35 =25200
I am also geting same but on st answer is different
ans ???
dekhna padega….but shuru me 2 ki jagah 6 h
fir 67200 hoga..:)
arrangment h na to 7P4 hoga..permutation
6! * 7P4 =604800
yes yhi aaega ans
See phle 6 boys ko arrange karna hai so 6!
Now 7 places ahi n 4 girls hai so 7C4, now in 4 girls ko b to arrange karna hai which 4!
so 6! * 7C4 * 4! = 604800
See phle 6 boys ko arrange karna hai so 6!
Now 7 places ahi n 4 girls hai so 7C4, now in 4 girls ko b to arrange karna hai which 4!
so 6! * 7C4 * 4! = 604800
why 4 factorial mam..:) girls k self arrangement b lena h kya mam…:)
yes vo to lena hi pdega
boys ka b to liya hai – 6!
to girls ka ku nhi ?
7C4 se to bas places aai hai na arrangement ki
but girls to hm boys ki bech mn arrange kr rhe h boys ki arrangement fix h to 6! but girls ki arrangement fix nhi h mam then also 4! nhi smj aaya..:)
see phle 6 places par boys ko rakha now 6! ways ho gae ki which boy will take which place
now 7 places hai jahn girls ko place kar sakte hai. right ?
So 7 places me se 4 places choose ki with 7C4, now 4 places choose ki hai only ki girls ko yahn yahn place karna hai
par kis girl ko kahn place karna hai vo to nhi aya na 7C4 me ??
so uske b to 4! ways honge ki which girl at which place
okkokkkkk…mam now got the point yes yes it shoud b there…yaaa…thanks mam…:)))
mein 4 girls ki b arrangement hti h wo nhi clik kr paya thaa….ab smj aaya….yeh point nkl gya tha….:)

but x discount h wo find krne k bd and mp etc find krne k bd b sp ka jo ans h wo diye hue cp and profit % se sp jo h both are same mam…wase b kro to b whi sp nikl rha h jaise direct krne mn nikl rha h so only i am unable to grab whts the first line trying to say abt…:)
gain given cp given the value od sp which comes from here is same as that calculated from mp and discount……mam…:) if both ought to be same then why to calculate discount as v can directly calculate the ans frm given data of cp and profit % which is given mam…:)

We will give some topics in few days
ok mam ty :)) good morning
38 men, working 6 hours a day can do a piece of work in 12 days. Find thenumber of days in which 57 men working 8 hrs a day can do twicw the work. Assume that 2 men of the first group do as much work in 1 hr as 3 men of the second group in 1.5 hrs………@surajskt:disqus sir@Shubhra_AspirantsZone:disqus mam??
6 days ?
27/2 days ?
group kha diya h isme ??
1st group ko 38 men walo consider kro…:)
2 men in 1 hour, so 1 man in 2 hours
3 men in 1.5 hours so 1 man in 4.5 hours, so in 2 hours 2.25 men
so 1 M = 2.25 m
M = 1st group
m = 2nd group
so 38 M = 38*2.25 m
Now
M1 * H1 * D1 * W2 = M2 * H2 * D2 * W1
38*2.25 * 6 * 12 *2 = 57 * 8 * D2 * 1
Solve for D2
mam…its tooo late for reply……hhehehehehehehehe mam….:) i solved it coming 27 days…:)
hehe yes
was busy thoda
phle hi ho gya tha ?
yaaa…. mam i was doubtful that whether the abv step was needed to convert the men value so only i put it here to match the procedure…..same procedure applied here tooo so means i was coreect mam..thank yyuuu so mch mam…:)
permutation vala b dekho niche
yaa mam permutation aayega ya combination aayega usme….:) thoda doubt h usme..:) becoz ways puch rha h so combination hona chaiye i think,,,:)
I dont use permutation concept
combination se ho jata hai

P [ 1 + r/100]^6 = 2P
So [ 1 + r/100]^6 = 2
Also
P [ [1 + r/100]^6 ]^2 = P+48000
SO
2^2 = P+48000
P = 48000 – 4

Lacking information about energy use, people tend to overestimate the amount of energy used by “”equipment, such as lights, that are visible and must be turned on and off and underestimate that”” used by unobtrusive equipment, such as water heaters.
(A) equipment, such as lights, that are visible and must be turned on and off and underestimate that
(B) equipment, such as lights, that are visible and must be turned on and off and underestimate it when
(C) equipment, such as lights, that is visible and must be turned on and off and underestimate it when
(D) visible equipment, such as lights, that must be turned on and off and underestimate that
(E) visible equipment, such as lights, that must be turned on and off and underestimate it when
D is the best choice
why C is wrong ??
parallelism concept.. yaha jo noun hai,, equipment uske sath 2 adjectives use ho rahe hai,, ek visible and ek unobtrusive … jo bracket wala part hai we have to change it.. now unobtrusive equipment use hua hai,, means jo first part hai wo bhi visible equipment hona chahye. taki dono parallel rahe.. now A,B and C are eliminated.
From D) and E)
in e) visible equipment, such as lights, that must be turned on and off and underestimate it when – it when ki wajah se galat hai,, coz coz starting me already mentioned hai the amount of energy used by to next time fir se it when used lagane ki zarurat nhi hai
SO D) sahi hoga

interest rate for company p and q for diffrent year
p= 12 lakh ; for 1st year interest = 8% (in 1998) when re invested in P in next year then interest rate=10% (1999)
hence total amount= 12 L *108/100*110/100=1425600
total appreciation= 1425600-1200000=225600 (c)

Question 1
What is the simple growth rate per annum of the total revenue for A, B & C from 2008 to 2012?
A 233%
B 62%
C 35%
D 42%
E Cannot be determined
2. If the share of company B’s revenue in the total revenue remains same in 2014 as in 2012; and in 2014 the total revenue of all the companies is Rs. 9,000 cr, then the revenue of company B in 2014 is
A Rs. 4,000 cr
B Rs. 3,000 cr
C Rs. 2,000 cr
D Rs. 2,500 cr
E Cannot be determined
koi to bta do.
For (2):
Let revenue of B in 2014 =x
in 2012 ratio of B/total=2800/6300
in 2014 =x/9000 both are equal
2800/6300=x/9000
x=4000 A)
For (1) it should be: Total in 2008(A+B+C)=1787
in 2012 total a+b+c=6225
growth rate= 6225-1787/1787 *100= 248%

11% prvious 20% next took as 100 here..then increase 20-11/11 =80%
increase is asked,, means what is the increase from this is year to next year.. increase is 20… so u have to divide 20 by 11 and not 21-11 by 11

Varanasi to Patna is a downstream journey on a stream which flows at a speed of 5km/hr. Boats A and B run a shuttle service between the two cities that are 200 kms apart. Boat A, which starts from Varanasi has a still-water speed of 20km/hr, while boat B, which starts from Patna at the same time has a still-water speed of 10km/hr. When will the two boats meet for the second time if they start at 9 am?
There are 2 concepts in this question.
First the downsteam and upstream concept and second the relative speed
Boat A downstram speed is 20+ 5 = 35
Boat B’s upstream speed 10-5 = 5
Now they are travelling in opposite direction so relative speed is 35 +5 = 40
Distance is 200
So time they ll meet is 200/40 = 5 hrs
So 9 AM + 5 hrs

…………………………………………………..GST………………………………………………………..
The tax system in india is very complicated as there are so many indirect taxes that are charged by state and central government on goods and services.These taxes include Entertainment tax, VAT tax etc. The businessmen have to maintain accounts that have to comply with all the provisions of these indirect taxes .Therefore experts had suggested to streamline a comprehensive tax system that will replace all the prevalent indirect taxes.This is termed as GST – Acronym of Goods And Services Act. With the introduction of GST,all the indirect taxes will come under one roof .
This act will have both positive and negative impacts on the economy.
Positive : It will reduce the number of taxes.Earlier, a number of indirect taxes were levied but after the implementation of this tax,it will cover all those indirect taxes. The price of goods and services will also reduce to a significant extent so this system will prove to be very beneficial for the economy .It is estimated that the GST would help our economy to earn $15billion in a financial year as it will reduce burden on central and state governments and improve exports as well .
Negative : According to the economists, GST will impact the real estate market and increase the prices of new homes by 8%.Also GST is a confusing term for where double tax are charged under the name of one single tax and GST levied states as SGST and central as CGST are nothing but represent older terms of Indirect taxes in new words .
There are approximately 140 countries where GST has already been implemented and it impacts a nation both ways good and bad so ignoring negative aspects,positive impacts should be taken into consideration to improve the economy.
enrique beta gud jobb……aise hi post krte rho…hehheeh..:))
thanks bro :))
Also GST is a confusing term for where double tax are charged under the name of one single tax eska exampe dena
see
main benefits that the GST regime promises is a reduction of multiple taxes. But the truth is just the opposite….article 246A confers power on Parliament and every state legislature to levy goods and service tax so we are likely to have one parliamentary law and about 28 state laws n there is no constitutional requirement that all the state laws be uniform. The GST is a model only and can’t prevent states from going their own way.
