    2/5
    Option E
    3(6/17) / 2(7/34) – 1(9/25) = ?^2
    => 55/17 / 75/34 – 34/25 = ?^2
    => 55/17 * 34/17 – 34/25 = ?^2
    => 114/75 – 34/25 = ?^2
    => (114 – 102 )/75 = ?^2
    => ?^2 = 12/75
    => ? = 2/5

  2. (216)^1.3 * (36)^1.8 / (6)^0.5 = (6)^?
    3
    9
    5
    7
    6
    Option D
    (216)^1.3 * (36)^1.8 / (6)^0.5 = (6)^?
    => ? = 7

    2606.4
    2000.5
    2100.2
    2300.5
    3020.3
    Option A
    48% of 4800 + 24% of 1260 = ?
    => 48 * 48 + 24 * 12.6 = ?
    => ? = 2304 + 302.4
    => ? = 2606.4

  5. [784.92+54.945×(85.971-54.101)]÷4.93=?
    555
    510
    560
    532
    590
    Option B
    [784.92+54.945×(85.971-54.101)]÷4.93=?
    => [788 + 55 * 32]/5 = ?
    => 2548/5 = ?
    => ? = 509.6 = 510

  6. Four years ago Shyam’s age was ¾ times that of Ram. Four years hence, Shyam’s age will be 5/6 times that of Ram. What is the present age of Shyam ?
    9 years
    20 years
    14 years
    16 years
    32 years
    Option D
    Four years ago,
    Shyam : Ram = 3 : 4
    After four years,
    [3x +8]/[4x+8] = 5/6
    => x = 4
    Shyam’s present age = 3x + 4
    = 3 × 4 + 4 = 16 years

  7. Two cyclists start on a circular track from a given point but in opposite directions with speeds of 7 m/s and 8 m/s respectively. If the circumference of the circle is 300 m after what time will they meet at the starting point ?
    30 sec.
    20 sec.
    40 sec.
    10 sec.
    50 sec.
    Option B
    According to the question,
    Relative speed = (8 + 7) = 15 m/s
    Distance = 300 m
    Time taken to cover this distance = 300/15 = 20 s

  8. Satish invests Rs. 35,500 in a scheme which earns him simple interest at the rate of 15 p.c.p.a. for two years. At the end of two years he reinvests the principal amount plus interest earned in another scheme which earns him compound Interest at the rate of 20 p.c.p.a. What will be the total interest earned by Satish over the principal amount at the end of 5 years ?
    Rs. 52230.45
    Rs. 44247.20
    Rs. 324512.8
    Rs.50025.5
    Rs.45225.30
    Option B
    Simple interest = [35500 * 15 *2]/100 = Rs. 10650 Principal for another investment = 35500 + 10650 = Rs. 46150
    C.I = Rs. 46150[(6/5)^3 – 1] = Rs. 46150 * 91/125 = Rs. 33597.20
    Total interest earned = Rs (10650 + 33597.20)
    = Rs. 44247.20

  9. The total area of a circle and a rectangle is equal to 1166 sq.cm. The diameter of the circle is 28 cms. What is the sum of the circumference of the circle and the perimeter of the rectangle if the length of the rectangle is 25 cm ?
    182 cm
    220 cm
    100 cm
    150 cm
    190 cm
    Option A
    Area of circle = pi*r*r
    = 22/7 × 14 × 14
    = 616 sq. cm.
    Area of rectangle = 1166 – 616 = 550 sq.cm.
    Breadth of rectangle = 550/25 = 22cm.
    Circumference of circle
    = pi × diameter = 22/7× 28 = 88 cm.
    Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length + breadth)
    = 2 (25 + 22) = 94 cm.
    Required sum = 88 + 94 = 182 cm.

  10. 8 men can complete a piece of work in 4 days. 12 women can complete the same piece of work in 4 days whereas 8 children can complete the same piece of work in 8 days. 2 men, 8 children and 3 women work together for 2 days. If only women were to finish the remaining work in 2 days, how many total women would be required ?
    15
    24
    18
    12
    20
    Option D
    As per given information, 8 × 4 men = 12 × 4 women
    = 8 × 8 children
    32 men = 48 women = 64 children
    2 men = 3 women = 4 children
    2 men + 8 children + 3 women = (3 + 6 + 3) women =12 women
    12 women’s 2 day’s work = 1/2
    Remaining work = 1/2
    Required number of women = 12
